By Law, all German car manufacturers emblems have to be round. Due to badly worded legislation, this also includes Vauxhall.

If you have a sub 20 minute commute, you should take your alternator belt off the car entirely and then just charge the battery back up at work every day on their electricity. The reduced load on the engine will increase your MPG by up to 20% depending on how much electricity you use.

Since your car needs plugging into the mains every day, your car is now a hybrid so technically you don't have to pay the congestion charge, but you have to get an engineers report to prove you haven't got an alternator belt and TFL will refund the fine.

No brand new Ford Scorpios were ever sold, like bad films that go straight to DVD they went straight into the second hand market and Ford made no attempt to sell them directly to the public via their own showrooms.

If you press the AGRI button in any Lamborghini it will instantly allow you to go off road and use the car as a tractor.  HERITAGE.

The Maxda RX-8 does not use a conventional engine, its rotary engine is in fact comprised of two mediterranian monk seals swimming in circular tanks. This design allows it lower CO2 emissions than the previous wankel derived design.

Sadly, the designers did not realize that nothing from the med will work properly without a generous gratuity which is why so many cars are on ebay suffering from seal tip failure.

red card that is suspiciously akin to a bad joke and we have no time for those around here

General Motors approached IKEA in 1986 to explore the development of a flat-pack car. Based on the venerable J-platform, the project was abandoned when IKEA's engineers studied the bulkhead and decided it was wobblier than a Billy bookcase, and refused to work with the carmaker again.

Fortunately SAAB provided a willing home for the designs.

Volvo consulted ikea when they designed their cars, the rear boot opening shape, size and floor space with the seats down was designed so you could fit any of the items they sell in there without fuss.

It's common practice that, when the Queen's Honours are being awarded, for Her Majesty to be unavailable for the ceremony due to commitments elsewhere and when this occurs, for another member of The Royal Family to conduct the dubbing ceremony on her behalf.

In April 1972 , Her Majesty was unable to fulfil the ceremony due to a Royal visit to Fiji accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and as such HRH Princess Anne was appointed to conduct the investiture. On the morning of the ceremony, it was discovered that "Accolade" (the name of the dubbing sword used for the ceremony) was at the Royal Arsenal for repairs to the hilt, so Princess Anne was hurriedly called to ask if she provide an alternative sword to "Accolade". Due to a bad echo on the line, Princess Anne misheard the question and arrived at Buckingham Palace, dressed in full ceremonial uniform as the Colonel-in-Chief of the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (29/45 Foot), driving a 1970 Reliant Scimitar.

I am currently looking at a piece of IKEA furniture which refused to fit in any way into my 240GLT, to the great amusement of half of Wednesbury.

The speed limit doesn't apply on the M6 Toll Road because it's a private road and you're paying to use it.

If you buy 1000 shares in the M6 toll company they build you your own lane, that's why there are only three at the moment.

Viewed from the air, Milton Keynes' network of roads and copious roundabouts depict an ancient occult symbol which is the only thing preventing the North-South Divide from imploding, an event which would cause most of Yorkshire to be pulled into a vortex of optimism and wine bars.  Since nobody wants this to happen, Milton Keynes is regarded as having great cultural and economic importance to the survival of Great Britain.

I've had an indicated erm 4000 rpm in top in my now fucked Honda diesel, up and down the m6 toll, and what you assert is actually TRUE, and therefore should not be in this thread.

You do know that the M6 Toll is owned by a consortium, of Race Tracks, and drag strips including Oulton Perk, Dennington Pork, Satan Pad, Nock 'ill, Shelsley Welsh, and The Nuremburg Trails.

They do monitor speed, and those that can get close to the record, are invited to a track day at the Bull(Shit) Ring in Birmingham, which is ironic as the M6 Toll was originally built so proper Northern People who need to travel south cause that's where all the jobs are, can avoid seeing Birmingham during daylight hours.

A commonly held misbelief :( As you could imagine Germany was in a state of chaos after the war, so the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller was actually made from scrap Heinkel bombers, using the rear bombers cockpit to keep the weather out; it was the Heinkel bubble car that was built from scrap Messerschmitt fighters.
