I cant have this, no room and no money.

But the idea of buying and driving back to Devon with it does appeal.

eBay marketing skills , are being used to full effect on your behalf, this is the similar items list on a 1946 Jeep project Junkman has just postedpost-17414-0-81532900-1433230767_thumb.jpg

So you just need to add Not Bond Bug ,Skyline GTR,Manta or TT. To the title

I have a hankering to drive this back to Devon and use as my daily.

Also SWMBO hates it in pictures, to my amusement.

Perhaps supplementing a G-reg car that has frequent FTP moments with a D-reg car would only aggravate the situation.

Good luck with the sale. Doubt it helps, but I once, as a child, had the pleasure of a journey in the back of a blue 305 estate owned but the mum of a mate who lived down the lane near Charlie's farm. Bill the fishmonger also had a Y plate white 305 van which always looked like it had partied harder than Shaun Ryder, despite the fact it was only a few years old at the time.

Doubt it helps

This kind of anecdote can only help.  10/10

What is a the spc of a 305 GT? Is there anything remotely sporty about it?

According to peugeot's own nomenclature, it should mean 4 or 5 doors, sport/luxury trim. But they broke their own rules more than the English language

Less that 24 hours to go.

185 watchers and 1 bid.

No more watchers please. Just bidders. I know what these things are worth. No small dent by the boot badge. Can put 20p in handbrake mech if required.

No time wasters.

This is why you should time the end of an auction for 09:00 on Sunday morning.

Lots of drunk men on Saturday night bid for the car of their dreams* and the auction finishes before they can tidy up their little mistake.

Yeah but what does it actually mean

First 305 with the 1580 XU engine, so optimistically called GT.  Only survived A & B plate, later rebadged to GR later in its life.

Gl GL and GT spec and latterly Gtx all ran concurrently up until the range was effectively rationalised to just the derv estates and vans in the tail end of the eighties. The Gr and Gt both ran the Xu5 1580 lump but the Gr ran a milder cam and single choke solex carb with around 75hp, and the Gt had the Xu5s with a twin choke weber or solex and chucked out around 92 hp.

I can't believe it ended with just one bid, I guess they are not as popular as I thought

Were you the only bidder? ;)

What would the point of that be?!

I'm surprised there was fuck all bids too.

Seems everyone likes it and nobody wants it.

Is that what they actually said??
