Lacquer Peel
I like it but rong pump and I don't have any money. I think you have to be patient for the right buyer if you're selling something old and obscure like this and aren't giving it away. Jim Bell
Still using this mother flipper every day. The auld bitch has developed a noise from the near side rear wheel. Jacking it on Overruns sports jack and spinning the wheel reveals a rough point and a bit of play. mouseflakes and derskine
Jim Bell
Rather than burning it, I has bott a wheel bearing, which will be fitted to make all smooth again. Got another temp sensor to try too. And some 205 Gti Pepperpots with better tyres to try for fitment. The old girl deserves a bit of continuing care. purplebargeken
That's the reason it didn't sell. Dull door handles. That is a newbie's mistake Mr. Merdepois. I expect better of you. That is a handsome looking chariot, bloody shame it seems difficult to shift. Odd.
Lacquer Peel
Errand. 409.5 Miles on the last tank Top of the world. I make that 41MPG, assuming there's a 5 litre reserve. Not bad, moar hypermiling required.

Jim Bell
Attempted murder update. I was up at half five with the dog this morning so I thought I'd make use of the quiet dry morning and trial fit some 14" GTI pepperpots to the 305 as the 15" speedlines didn't fit. Jacked her up, got the wheel off, then the cunt just slipped off the Jack and tried to end my thus far reasonably uneventful life. You thankless cunt! I had to jack the front to infinity and stack 15s carefully under the sill to rock the back high enough to get a wheel on. And guess what? They don't fit. Same clearance issues as the 15s. Fuck this car. Underseal stuff has suffered some jack slip gouging, but other than that, everything looks good. No damage, apart from the 17 hours the fright took off my life. I have decided that if there is enough interest, the car will now be offered for Raffle. The car is still going into local tame independent garage for wheel bearing on Wednesday, so will be good to go drive ANYWHERE by the time the next lottery is drawn. 320touring
Glad you is not dedded due to jack slippery. And glad to see the 305 is suitably "bof" re everything you try to do! The Moog and Junkman
cort16
Is it the offset that's the issue? Are the wheels sticking too far out?The whole wheels fitment thing is like BMW model numbers x2000 and I'm pretty sure no one in the world understands it fully there's just some who pretend to. Jim Bell
Do sit down dearie, and get yourself comfortable. And we shall begin. Ooooo, the miiiists are paaaaarting. I see a great win for you in the future. I see four wheels and the colour gold. I'm getting the word WEASEL. Do you know a Weasel dearie? Or it could be diesel. Do you know a Diesel? Anyway, the spirits are foretelling of a great journey north to victory that lurks in your present future. I see a new Castle, a place of great excitement for you. And the sea. I can see the sea. But it not like Margate. It looks much nicer. And you're there and you look so happy. The spirits are telling me to give you the following advice. Give a stranger £12. Pick a number between 1 and 49. If the stars align correctly, all of your dreams will then come true. That'll be £12 please dearie. Shut the tent on the way out. oldcars, mouseflakes, Junkman and 2 others
