Just had to share this chariot belonging to my local MP

Has he no shame? Or money? Does he live in it?

Not sure on his policies but his tour bus is a heap of shite so I`m voting :)post-19511-0-87844500-1428777598_thumb.jpg

I forgot to mention the old fellow he has giving out leaflets. Nice old boy but can barely walk and looks as though he may pass away at any given moment

Would you vote if you had a dead man on your doorstep with a handfull of leaflets? ( hope he isn`t reading this as he was a pleasant old gent)

To be fair he is a really nice bloke,  I vote for the others but don't mind when he gets in.  He's had that Talbot for at least 8 years,  probably since new.

Sorry to say I don`t actually vote

This van just made me smile.

Slight thread drift but on the subject of MPs that might be secret shiteists- Michael Howard's wife had a original panda 4x4 well into the noughties, before Blair started driving a Chrysler voyager he had a monty estate of all things.

Lembit Opik had a Cavalier that had done 375k apparently.

Distance from one ear to the other;)

At least he's not claimed a new van on expenses. Fair play to him for using such chod to do battle in.

I saw Ulster Unionist hopeful Roy Beggs Jr last weekend getting out of a pov-spec, stinking dirty and battered W203 C220 CDi of approximately 2001 vintage.

A friend of mine Eric Ferguson was the mayor of my town on a number of occasions. He has a totally fucked Rover R8 tourer, and has owned it at least 10 years.

Our sitting MP, Sammy Wilson (Democratic Unionist) had a Kia Sedona until recently. I reckon he lived in it. If you've ever seen him you'll understand why I said that: he's a scruffy individual. Looks like 10lb of shit in a 5lb bag.

Whatever the shite credentials of individual MPs, The 'battle buses' are all about making a contempory impression and sadly a 1983 Plaxton Derwent bodied Leyland Leopard would sadly normally not cut it....

This one has 'disco lighting' apparently and the Green party's runs on WVO.

Boris Johnson rode about in an old volvo when he was last campaigning to be Mayor Of London....

She only changed from the Panda when it was stolen and joy ridden in 2005. One of my customers is a big Tory supporter ( Who'd a thunk it, someone that uses a chauffeur is a Coservative) and during the 2005 election campaign I was 'loaned' to the lovely Sandra for 2 weeks.

She talked about the Panda and at the time they'd still got it parked in a barn, she hated the Prius that the spin doctors made Howard replace both the Panda and his Scorpio estate with.

Mandelson had a Rover 827 Sterling, I think it was an L reg, and Harriet Harman had a Mk1 800 fastback well into the Noughties. Liam Fox had a Rover 75 and Norma Major a Montego saloon.

Both Balls and Miliband have old Fords, Ed B a Mk3 Mondeo and Ed M an early Focus hatch.

Did UKIP get that bus cheap after a bus/bridge interface incident?

The old giffer giving out flyers for the local tory candidate looked a bit baffled after I politely declined his offer of a 'I'm Supporting Caroline Dineage' poster for the window earlier. I'd have thought that my lip ring, flesh tunnels and Che Guevara t-shirt would mark me out as someone probably not likely to vote for them next month. Evidently not. 3/10 must try harder.

Ditch the t - shirt and get a waxed jacket and you'll find you fit in much better.

Radio4 is running some shitty serialisation/reality history series 1915....

Crap about women in the industrial munitions business and worrying knocks at the door/telegram boy interfaces.

Oops... wrong thread :(

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what's a flesh tunnel?

Its a hole in my ear - first of all you get it pierced, then (over a period of weeks) get it stretched to accept larger and larger diameter 'plugs'

Mine is 10mm so can fit a biro, or a .38 caliber bullet, or in my case a bone cylinder through. Some people go crazy and stretch them up to accommodate plugs that are 10+ cm in diameter, but that carries a serious risk of the ear lobe splitting and you ending up with two dangly bits of very stretched skin hanging down. Have you gone off your dinner yet?

Google image search it and you'll see what I mean. People's ear lobes are differently stretchy. Mine are about average, some people's will stretch very easily, others dont like it at all.

You can stretch other things too (use your imagination) depending on your tolerance of pain and willingness to lose the ability to use a urinal without spraying the wall, floor, other people...

Interesting- some things you just don't feel like googling in case you see something you can't forget :-)

TV series on with this lass - she had to have plastic surgery - she interviews people who 'might just live to/actually DO regret' extreme body events....

Featured a lass getting her ears 'remade' - not before supper, tkks :(
