Ooh RR Classic, but WTF is in that trailer? Old doors and a pallet...Is there a firewood shortage in mainland Europe??

Posted

I'm bringing back a B310 Datsun Sunny which has been 'pre-sold' through the blue forum to cover the costs of the trip!!!!

Posted

I've got NFI whats going on with that trailer, it really does look like he's exporting a small quantity of firewood

This Pony is mega crunchy. If you punch it, huge clods of shite drop off its undercarriage!!!! I'm glad I have not investigated it properly.

It's safe though. That's all that matters 8) 8) 8)

Let's hope the Googlebot doesn't pick this up and lump it in with equestrian search results.

France is a Mecca in western Europe for spotting rarely seen chod. Now it appears that it's largely down to you.

Posted

Having been to Korea a few times in recent years, it is a totally chod free zone.  For old cars, it is the dullest place on the planet.

I wonder if they have legislation to say you have to weigh them in after so many years, or perhaps it never occurs to them to keep them.  They have legislation for most things and I suspect you aren't allowed to do much to your own cars - certainly no-one seems to.

Fair chance their old cars go somewhere, perhaps Russia or China, so there might be a land of ponies somewhere?

Didn't know you had a Berlina Boll? I've a 1600 I'm struggling to find a use for..too

I didn't realise the facelift Pony was barned too! Great stuff.

What's going on with your stack headlight 929?

Nowt at the moment, its in my dad's garage in Wisbech, just sitting waiting further developments. An interesting development is that some bell end tried to walk across the ancent thin & crispy asbestos sheets that make up his garage roof recently. Predictably they came through it and fell onto a concrete floor from two storeys up. Christ knows what state they were in after that but they managed to break a ground floor window to get out through.

Great work, the live photo updates are truly superb !

Oh, and if you have a spare minute between rescuing obscure motors, do check your PM's ! I sent you one last week but it still shows as unread !

Just filling up with cheap diesel in Luxembourg.

The volvosaurus is going FLIPPING GREAT (famous last words) it absolutely storms along even with all that shite hanging off the back. One complaint I do have is that the drivers lumbar support doesn't work, and it's starting to give me a seriously bad back so I will have to have a look at that soon

Stage 1 complete!!!!! No-one has died so far.

It may be just me, but I find it strangely fun setting off on a long, slow drive with a trailer - at least once the first big hill has been dealt with and the initial nerves are out of the way. So long as there are no real time pressures (such as catching a ferry!) I find it quite relaxing just trundling along in the slow lane.

Belgian pez station - nearly there!! Just stopping for a quick caffiene hit

How much does it cost on the ferry for a car and trailer then?
