I think the estate was a “16tgs” and the hatch  17txd which doesn’t mean much to be aside from engine capacity.

I think TX replaced TG as a trim level, but with a sportier vibe as the BX neared end of life.

My BX ownership consists of 2 days as highest bidder on a slightly shonky white series 2 estate, its 4 figure sale price was one too many digits for my comfort zone.

I have had two,a diesel manual,the model of which i have completely forgotten and a BX19TZi Auto which i lavished much money and polish on! A wonderful comfortable and speedy cruiser,i drove it to the CCC international in 2012,a total of 600 miles and it drove perfectly. Sold it to a chap in Birmingham and his wife wouldn't drive it so he sold it to a chap back down my way but i lost track of it.

Err, I've atill got 3. Life has been a bit busy recently, but I will fill out the registration form online at some point soon. If anyone wants a basically free BX 16TXI, its still on offer for the person that can collect it (obviously its not road legal and has its issues but is really quite a simple set of fixes to its problems)
