Would this have the kettle series hooked up to rwd gearbox? I love to know the address.

Some Polonez deffo had the kettle, mounted longitudinally with the left side engine mount floating in mid air.

Not sure if it's common knowledge, but after VW took over the Chrysler factory in Argentina, they put VW badges on the Hillman Avengers they were building there and called them VW 1500s (not to be confused with any rear-engined air-cooled cars also called VW 1500s..)

The Oldsmobile Alero, last thing to have an Olds badge.

We get the officially imported as Chevrolet Alero. But Oldsmobile would have been a lot cooler!

A Cadillac Van? Don't know if this is a conversion, bodge or something in between.

Had a look on Google and there might be others but I can't check as my phone isn't working right

New Protons. Namely the Suprima (10 in the UK so far), and the slightly older Satria Neo with just under 700 sold - amost exactly the number of Dacia Denems which made it over here!

I saw a Suprima in Norwich a couple of months ago.  Took me quite a while to work out wtf it was.

The ZIL 4102

Does this actually "exist" in the true sense of the word though?  It looks like a CGI rendition (from a late 1990s PC game).

EDIT:  Yes, it would appear that it does.

Just look at that interior.

That looks like the unholy love child of a Bentley S1, a 1960 Mercury and a PA Cresta...

Car 1 the other way round . A 1954 wraith by Vignale

Car 2 is apparently the same model, but re-bodied by a mad bodybuilder/stylist.from the innernet so no details about it. Hopefully not photoslopped.

I izz Hignorrant.

my defence comprises... I don't get car mags/glossies/Sunday papers/dwell in reality  :?

However, when a Jag -F swooshed past me today.... well, after the shite they have knocked out, I was impressed.

as it shot up behind me, on the A69, I thought Maser... after a 'chopsokkie' wizz bang of a pass [not many chances on the A69] I stared at the arse for 20Mins.....

Hmmm..... I thought, I see the 'E Type' legacy in the haunches and roof tailing, but the slab bumper (AKA NissanGTR) was a bit... well, flat!

I think 'suggested' chromework (like the E Type bumper corners) would have made it a bit more distinctive.......

These are pshopped from the front of a Rover 600 >> but perhaps you get the idea.

I had no idea until I passed one today there was such a thing as a RHD Cadillac, especially 1990s ones!  Still wouldn't want one though.

They crop up on here a fair bit. They do provide problems and I'm very unconvinced with regards to the Northstar engine.

Posted

They're firmly on my 'want' radar, pretty cheap too now for what they are.  They were slated by the press when new but in reality they're supposed to be alright.

Well, I suppose you'd know where you stood with one of these 'Cadillacs'...

And another from the same stable, Named Roadstar. Lifted from the ad.

Just done a quick google and it's based on a Corvette C5. Not sure why you'd buy that over a corvette (if you were buying such things)... but then again, I'm not American.. sooo...

Apart from the wheels, that's not as terrible as it could be.  To say I liked it would be generous, yet I'm finding myself not totally offended by it.
