Well I have been away from this fun location for a while, but distance is no cure for the insane. ... I say insane as last week I bought this monster. 850cc and Heathermill's transmission.

Its the PLUS model so it get a roof spoiler !

I've not seen a roof spoiler blended into the roof bars before. Does this affect downforce when loaded?

How are you supposed to use that recessed tow ball as a parking sensor?

I love these little things. Suzuki wagon R would be my choice, the old version, not the new shape one. Check every now and again on ebay but rarely is an older one around that's not being broken. I may indulge one day for some fun, at risk of being disowned by my children!

The Move and GrandMove are brilliant. When I worked at BCA we would often use one as a ferry car to transport many burly blokes from one end of the site to the other to collect cars for the forthcoming sale. Despite vigorous attempts to get them to roll over they leaned but never toppled and seemed to lap up all the punishment. HOOJ FUN 4 HOONIN.

For some unfathomable reason I really like these wee things, and I bet they're far better to drive than they look. Ultimate town weapon, zippy, light and able to slip through gaps not much wider than the pannier'd up courier bikes use.

Great car. I think the only similar thing I drove was a (oMg all) Vauxhall ('s R 5hite) Agila and I must admit; it was Ok. This though must be utterly miserable, therefore 18.9/10 points for you.

Fuck it i took some time tonight to get the might Move on a four post ramp and finally after a few weeks work out where all the oil was going. It's drunk litre in less than 300 miles....

so what did I did find? A large sheet of folder steel plate between the sump gearbox and exhaust, collecting oil and when full drizzling it out the back away from the xhaust... Great welcome to the bodgers brigade !!

So I remove this steel,plate to see where it's comming from, I don't know about you but one shouldn't be able to see the flywheel and torque converter from under the car, but I can throught the four by one inch hole where metal should be...it appears oil just sloshes out the sump, over the flywheel and then drains either back into the sump when turning one way or onto the steel plate if going the other way.

Added to this auto rustproofing is a finger sized hole in one wishbone, a thumb sided hole in the chassis and rusty brake pipes... Frankly it's not worth fixing.... So I have eye out for another, and used this as a spare parts car.....

I guess my plans for doing land end .... Drive are out as one litre per 250 - 300 miles is a far cost when looking at doing 2000 miles....

Been a while on this one, so far obtained another engine from a scrapper locally, stripped and checked it over, put it back together and fitted it to the MOVE.

Old engine rear crank oil seal fell out when i took the flywheel off !!!! No wonder it was using oil. Speaking of oil i may or may not of ever had a service in 68000 miles? what do you think?

I have now been using it everyday as my commute car replacement engine a wee bit cleaner!

However the Pineapple got to me
