God nowadays there'd be more hi-viz heroes with clipboards than you could shake a stick at, a forest of cones, roads within at least a 3 miles radius closed for severalĀ  months before they even think of what to do about that.

In that photo is one policeman, with is noddy bike.

What about a risk assessment? That normally needs at least 5 people.

Were they being exported to Turkey or somewhere else where they don't use an X?

That Triumph on the right is a reality check. It's so easy to go to classic car events and see all sorts of great cars, and to forget just how much they all rusted ..back in the day.

Blackfriars Bridge, that London, the 1930'sĀ  -

What London really needs is a 'Congestion Charge' and should only let vehicles with 'ultra-low emissions' into the centre. Any idea if there's any plans?

Of course it wouldn't reduce the tram jams...

Northumberland Street, NuT. Note the warning flag on the roadworks trailer. The whole lane would be coned off now-a-days.

Look at the totally hanging CF van. Another thing you don't see (often) today - totally hanging vans I mean, not CF's.

It's St Thomas St, NuT in the late '70's.

They won't find that periscope very effective if the missus insists on leaving the netsĀ  up to stop people looking in.

RHD - on it's way to the UK? Where it would have been very exotic against the Oxfords and Cambridges.

Where is that? Are they toll booths or security check points at the square at the top?

Is the entrance to a road tunnel? I don't recognise the city.

It is Liverpool. The entrance to the Mersey Tunnel.

tis indeed! its a Model 67 to be exact :)Ā someone had sent it to me last year,Ā  and where a bit confused by it as they thought the tunnel had Motorway style restrictions so it would not be allowed to drive through the tunnel, now I dont know what sort of traffic resitrictions the tunnel has/had but I cleared that up just on the fact that Legally most fulled bodied machines are not actually considered invalid carriages for the purpose of such restrictions so if there was a "No Invalid carriages" sign it would not apply to the Acedes
