Y-Reg, according to the Escort in the left of the photo, so August 1982 at the earliest.

It's after the 15th October 1982, because that's when they started selling Sierras.

The second greatest hero in this photo is whoever is driving that Volvo 164 in the background.

Looks like it's lasagne tonight.

I’d rather risk the horsey lasagne than Linda McCartney’s vegetarian range.

The sausages just taste like cardboard tubes.

It's a Minx actually (Hunters generally had square headlights).

Interestingly the Minx made it until 1983, the 'tina isn't listed so probably didn't make it to the computerisation of the system in 1975.

Very likely, but Minx would not have fitted with my attempted play on words.

Some of the final days of peace and quiet for a couple living beneath the M4 elevated section being built above Boston Manor Road, Brentford. August 1964.

Jacques-Henri Lartigue's self-portrait with his older brother Maurice on the left driving a De Dion-Bouton with incredible tyres, Cortembert Street, Paris, 1903. Jacques-Henri Lartigue was 9 years old when he took this photo.

The VW production line in action.

Those are Brazilian built VW Bugs. Brazilian Bug never got the larger side windows that were introduced in Germany in 1965, but they did get the other changes like the Euro bumpers and 4 stud wheels that were introduced in 1968.
