I just picked up a little something from the gift shop, it'll look good in the conservatory.

The K7 jet boat is now back at Coniston after restoration. The Ruskin Museum have three spare Orpheus engines and will be running the boat again on the lake.

They really do look wrong with the headlamps placed at the corners rather than a foot or so out from the radiator.

I’d be more worried about the lean at what looks like a slow speed at a junction.

That's Zebu - the first go at the Triumph 2000 - a strange mish-mash 'any car' style before Michelotti tidied it up.

Rear 3/4 oddly Austin Cambridge-ish.

Knew I'd seen it before. The nose looks way ahead of it's time. A60 stripe line too

Front reminds me of the 1960 Thunderbird  and 1958 Packard  Hawk.

I think the front has a hint of the Spitfire (Triumph not Supermarine) about it. Was this prior to the Spitfire?

I think they were all developed around the same time. The Zabu project is 1958 onwards. That picture must be 1959 onwards, as there is an early Herald in the background - without the rubber- covered bumpers that were introduced in April 1961.

Spitfire production started in '62.

Bit of the 1960 Peugeot 404 in the front glasshouse too.

The Zabu thingy has a vague Ford Anglia feel around the windscreen? The Herald looks a lot better without the rubber bumpers (they just kept falling off ours when it was about 8 years old - awful rust traps)

Was it the car Johnny Cash was singing about?
