When I was about 10 or 12 we used to wander about a local country estate and 'borrow' apples from the orchard and sometimes sit in a vintage car stored in a stable which I later found out was a 1935 Hillman with fabric roof. Very much like the Humber above but smaller scale. There was a 50s Rover P4 75 there too. Can still smell the Rover interior over 40 years later. The estate-owner didn't live there at the time, too much money to spend.

The cars are probably still there but security on the estate has been tightened up since the next generation took over. We never did any damage, just young lads messing about.

As a totally irrelevant bit of bollocks (unless you read the bus shite thread), SHE507S was a Met Cam bodied Fleetline.

While in the picture above they think the world is coming to an end, everything is as usual in Norway.

Early 70s? Nearly all British cars apart from  the car next to the first coach, ( don’t know what it is ) and I think an Audi 80 behind the Triumph 2000 , 3rd row far right.

Car is an Opel Manta, first produced in 1970. That shiny landcrab appears to be M reg so yes, 73/4 ish which would agree with the coaches in the background.

What's behind the Manta? Looks a bit like one of those square VW-Porsche 914 things, with it's lights raised.
