The 59 Club started as a youth club founded at St Mary of Eton church in Hackney Wick in 1959 by Reverend John Oates, in the East End of London. In 1962 a motorcycle section was established, meeting once a week on Saturday evenings. Judging by the reg, this'll be in the late 60's/early 70's.

Divine Intervention brings us some Good News -

Meanwhile, the Roman Catholics do things slightly differently -

What is the brand on the fuel pump behind the (Anglia ?) van please?

think it's "Dominion" fuel, which was around after WW2 until the late 1960s.

Modifications to driver's side windscreen.

It will be an exPost Office van , both Red Mail and Green Telephones had opening windscreens, but on the drivers side only. I thought they had rubber wings as well, but apparently not all of them did.

Studebaker Goldenhawk or Packard equivalent?

It's a Studebaker Silver Hawk - 1957-1959 - identified by the 6-window cabin. The Golden Hawk and Packard were pillarless. Interesting cars, later top-model ones were supercharged making then dangerously fast...

The supercharged engine and chassis were then reused in Avanti...these were the one of the fastest US cars at the time.
