Is there any way of uploading videos that play directly to here without uploading them to Youtube first? I know i can use something like tinypic but i want to be able to play the video in my post, not have to post a link to a 3rd party?.

Is anyone else experiencing a change to the layout of the pages on here? I don't mean the order of the threads but the actual layout of the comments and the boxes they're in. All the text in Trigger's comments above for instance are all in the same font and are the same size - there's no gaps between most lines, so it's difficult to read the text, etc and is about twice as long as as a result. The background is also all one colour - a dull brown. As far as I know, I haven't altered any settings. The only page that is 'normal' is the one which directs you to the different forums. I've had this since new year but apart from being really difficult to read anything, everything seems to be working. Other forums I'm a member of and web pages etc. are all fine, btw.

 

Any advice much appreciated, as you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone!

I use Chrome Dave and have done for a few years now, with no issues. As far as I'm aware, it's not been updated in the last few days. The confusing bit is that it's just AS affected. Have checked my settings on here but it all seems normal and I guess there's no option to alter the page layouts, other than order of content?

Havnt had any other complaints about this.

It's magically fixed itself! Unless you weaved some magic, Dave? I've worked out how to take screen shot if there's ever an issue again but I've not really encountered any in the previous 5-6 years.

 

Technology can sometimes make me feel very dumb....

Is the forum running dog slow at the moment or is it just me? For instance, it has taken three minutes to open this page and get to the point where I could actually post a reply.

I was having a nightmare last night, pages only opening part way and posts repeating themselves. That was on Chrome although my tapatalk phone app seems okay.

Nothing obvious wrong,i have rebooted server just in case.

Did have an attack on email server last night,dont think they succeeded but watching it just in case.

We are getting loads of possible spammers trying to register,over 200 some days most being blocked automatically but some having to be manually monitored.

All originating from eastern europe.

Would ideally like to move to a larger server at some point but obviously this would mean some downtime.

Liking is still hanging - 10-20 seconds. Posting seems ok today though, so maybe I should just post my likes with actual words instead!

doesnt seem to be anything wrong with forum,but server seems to be a bit slow,have just restarted it.

Might be looking for a faster server in when i get paid.

Has the maximum picture file size for upload changed? It's 2MB but the pics I want to upload are all about 2.7, as were the ones I did  a couple of days ago but they all went on OK.

Google Chrome is giving me problems, says it can't locate the server and so won't connect to the forum, I'd be more than happy to chip in to pay for maintenance on here

Board has .htaccess redirect from .com but chrome is terrible with redirects & may still be trying to connect to original server which no longer exists.

Had a proper mare this last couple of days, couldn't get on at all. Marty helped me sort it through facebook (cheers mate). I'm on firefox.... However, just noticed there are two 'autoshite' sites bookmarked and tried the other one and it got me straight here!
