Another old Pug 304 this time

We've recently taken this in payment for some work we did. I'm thinking of buying it off the company.

1.3l comes with hard and soft tops. Its had the same owner since 1982 and lived in Berlin for most of its life which is why it hasn't dissolved! Been off the road, mothballed for 2 years now but been regularly started and driven up and down a private road. Needs a wee bit of fettling and a good rustproofing with rustbuster.

Eor (who I bought the DAF from you with) will probably be happy to part ex his wife for this as he loves them. He looked at several a few years ago but every single one was either a basket case in need of full restoration or for an extra £3k he could buy a basket case that had been 'restored' with wob and copies of the Yorkshite Post.

Jeez, you  gotta have that!    Flash the gaffer an old Glass's and show him how little its worth by now....

I do like these, but I've never found one that wasn't terminally rotten or expensive or both. Looks nice with the hard-top.

I remember one that was left at the station in Clarbeston Road in Pembrokeshire for a long time, gradually rotting away. I seem to remember it was owned by an author who had gone off on one of her round the world trips.

^^^^^ Did she buy a 'long stay' ticket? Or was it pay on exit??

Leave a car for over 3 hrs at Newcastle Central Station and you seriously wonder whether it is worth retrieving LoL

These were very fashionable in the eighties and quite a few were badly restored.  They're pretty awful regarding rust, back suspension turrets seem to be particularly bad.  When I used to go to the annual Club Peugeot rally these used to be the most popular car by far, on my last visit in 2005 there were none!  Think 205s have taken over the mantle of the fashionable classic Peugeot.  We had a lovely 204 cabrio which had spent its like in the South of France and was thus much better bodily than most UK ones.

If I was in the same position, I'd definitely be keeping the car.  I had a 304 van many years ago and remember it being a joy to drive.

That looks lovely - they're very stylish machines.

It's an old Peugeot. Should be able to sell it in on here within 48 hours when you're bored with it.

^   :-D  :-D  :-D

Go on Scoot, you know it makes sense*.  If you want talking out of buying a marginal French coupe from the 1970s, you're asking the wrong people.

Tell you what, that's begging to have the boot hinges moved to the trailing edge so you can fit a dicky seat for the bairns.  Winner!

Welcome back!

That is fapping ace.

Old Edinburgh reg, too. Get it bought!

Not only an old Edinburgh reg but on a great set of plates too. Sit one of those next to a bloated 207cc and there's just no competition
