Surely a Maestro clock should be electronic, have Nicolette Mackenzie speak the time, and occasionally twat on about door open and low oil pressure

Twee Roman numerals on a Maestro clock? Save it for the Rover 75 memorial one mate

It might sell better if he had spelt "clock" correctly and given in to surely the most basic human urge to put a battery in and see if it does work......

Perhaps its been clocked and had the hands wound back. Tells the time in 1985.

I think he's someone who just picks up any old rubbish at a boot fair or charity shop and tries to make a few bob on it selling on. He's selling a lot of 'collectable' plates, like the ones everyone's nan seems to have. But he does have this which should really be on the shite in miniature thread:

Double the price of most other sellers. Had a look through most of his items he's got some unrealistic prices going on.

Indeed, true authenticity requires a digital display with missing segments.

I was so tempted to get that maestro clock for my mate as a wedding present, he’s a massive maestro licker. Only thing that stopped me was that he probably wouldn’t see it as a joke present.

It's not a clock. It's a sundial used for measuring the 0-60 time for a diesel maestro.

His wife will be very upset when that clock turns up.

Just in case your cheapy Halfords tyre inflator fails, here's one of those kits to inflate your tyres with a perfect petrol/air mix:

I'm not sure that's as bad an idea as it sounds. After all, petrol evaporates, and I doubt there would be any damage to the rubber. Worth it as a last resort, I reckon.
