I actually love this long time, with its tweed interior and LCD dials. But:-

Would this thing actually have anywhere near enough of a UK following to command a £4699 admission fee? (reduced handsomely, admittedly).

Eh, pretty sure I picked up a nicer, tidier and lower mileaged one of these for a quarter of your STARTING BID last week.

So did I. Admittedly mine's slightly higher mileage (102K) and slightly older (51 plate) and has less T&T, but that still doesn't make his worth four times more.

 

i picked up an 03 plate laguna with lower mileage for a lot less than his starting price almost 5 YEARS AGO !! ok, it wasn't a v6, and it had a dent on the door, but still...

 

incidentally, it was still the most money I ever managed to lose on a car, as i got rid of it a year later for about £500, just to see the back of it.

 

i don't know why, talking about it makes me want another one... a dci, sans revised turbo, maybe :P

The worlds gone mad, A Feu orange air freshener sold tonight for £18.77!

 

I've just checked my garage i've got one of these in tatty packaging unused! It's a twin pack so i have the "FEU ORANGE" an the other is a girly "PETITE FEU ORANGE"

 

Think i'll be putting it on ebay the weekend methinks for OMG retro/euro/rat/dub/j-tin lovers to fall over themselfs to bid. God know's i need the cash at the min too. Thanks. :)

There was a thread on the blue forum about these a while back - they are literally impossible to find, and strangely it wasn't the 'scene' types who were the most desperate for them. The company who originally made them got bought out twice over, and the new owners have said they'll never make them again. Seriously, there were phonecalls made and emails sent to prove it. The upshot was, the few (feu?) who had one refused to sell for any money as they'd never replace them.
