If this had at least been given the Doctor treatment, it wouldn't be such a brass-necked effort, but no.  £1300, classified advert.

Aye, right!

That Corsa is worth £300 on a good day, or about £200 at auction. Clearly it's being hawked by a crook. Mike Brewer would be proud!

Look at their feedback! 83%, but 1/3rd of them are definitely from the sellers mate! - One guy bought 4 cars off them in two days.

I'm sure that Corsa seller isn't a crook, he's just forgotten to put the dot in between the 3 and the first 0.  It's easily done.

To be fair, it is the turbo diesel version rather than the OMGHGF version, so if the mileage is as low as he says it's probably only about £1500 overpriced.

Seller notes: “SMALL SCRATCH ON DRIVER SIDE - AT THE MOST £150 NEEDS NEW BRAKE CALIPERS - £79 EACH X2AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS TO BE RE-GASSED (KWIK FIT WILL DO FOR £50 APRIL ONWARD)â€Â

Well it's only £8.5k so I suppose those small jobs can wait for the new owner

Seems this is listed as "for spares only"

Spare what precisely?

Looks like a Russian space probe that never made orbit.

it 'sold' previously for over £1200.

I see £300 in the aluminium window frame and a hundred quid in the rest of it - maybe more if it was clean and separate from the rust.

I know overpriced Minis are no longer newsworthy here but seeing this just made me a little sick once again at selling my fully MOT'd un-restored Mk1 for less than half that 12 years ago.

The annoying thing is he'll probably get close to that for it, especially as being a '59 you can just stick an engine in and away you go.

Still you could buy it, spend £10k on a restoration and have a much more desirable and valuable piece of motoring history than if you bought this which will no doubt still need a full mechanical overhaul having only done 182 miles in its lifetime:

My neighbour had the remains of a '69 Cooper sat in the field behind his place. It had been stripped out many years ago and most of the bits were in his barn. The shell was utterly fubar with no floor at all. Even the parcel shelf had completely rotted away. Recently some fella offered him £4500 for it! All credit to the bloke, he is actually rebuilding the shell rather than ringing another one.
