I was with him to start with, thinking that car detailing to that level is an artform, and hell yes if somebody pays the money then so what.

 

Now I am just thinking that a NOOB troll has completely fucked up an otherwise interesting thread,

The guy comes on here, expresses his viewpoint, which he validates with detailed descriptions, links, pics, etc, but gets abused.

 

Then, when he defends himself against such abuse... He get's further abused!

 

The man is clearly very highly experienced at his specialty, and works to an extremely high standard, he writes in depth, validated posts, and takes the time to correct points, yet he's continually abused!

 

Whilst new, he is not a troll, and has as much right as anyone to post, and to defend himself against abuse.

 

Besides which, when did richardthestag become the nominated voice of Autoshite, authorized to speak on behalf of "THE REST OF US"? Because he certainly is not speaking for me.

 

Behaving in the manner of mindless abusers simply because you disagree with the poster, or don't like their posts does this forum absolutely no favours, and the whole point of the forum is to attract and keep those whom can contribute to it.

 

Adding to the knowledge base of the forum, by attracting enthusiastic, experienced members should be something to work in favour of, rather than the opposite.

I agree. A lot of the under bonnet area is a bit scruffy to be honest and underneath isn't £34k standard. Added to which the colour is fuggin' awful.

Everything about that car screams STAY AWAY! in a very lod voice. Listed before but 'didn't realise he's left things out' means it probably didn't make what he wanted, or something like that.

I've re-read my first post. I don't see where I've been patronising and insulting to the intelligence of a collective forum? I did write a retort to the OP's disparaging and opinionated remark made about my ex-car and his comments about the price that it's currently being marketed at, not to mention his witting, sarcastic comment about me ("WHO?")....though that might have been my misinterpretation of genuine ignorance.

 

What I would say is, being called variously a "Troll", a "Nob" and a "Cunt" doesn't really do any favours to the collective intelligence of the forum.
