A grand over what it should be, and on it's spare as well, FFS some dealers do such half arsed prep, even a onehunglo ditchfinder will be cheap for one of these, fuck all else is though, made of almost pure unobtanium now I hear

It was ten years ago, the 2007 Hampton show.  I suppose at the height of the global crash, it was deemed notworthalot

It won best in show!

2008 Andy Saunders (yes, him) who restored it, sold it for £11k through RM Auctions

Wasn't that the auction where RM ended up settling out of court with him after selling some of his stuff off for less than his agreed reserves?

TBH, the whole of the classic car section of Ebay could go in Ebay bargains now. Its mental. EVERYTHING is several thousand pounds overpriced.

My inability to get off my arse and mend any my shit old cars has inadvertently made me rich. It brilliant. They are all in much much worse condition than when I bought them and all worth about 4 times as much. Performing better than my pension fund.

I love the ads that state what they 'go' for when fully restored. That BMW E21 being 'worth' 14k when complete, a basic 2.0 in Metallic green? - I think to get that anywear near 14k, you would need to spend 10k and loose a year of your life.....

Are there folk out there that think iot could be done for as couple of grand with a 9-10k easy profit?
