Cops in northern Scotchland have/had X Type AWD estates. Seen one on the news after a bus crash.

There used to be 2 3.0 X-type saloons that patrolled the M23 and Surrey stretch of the M25 ,one black,one silver.

Replaced by Focus ST's now Audi A4's.

 

Someone in the Finnish Police department obviously considered that an S-Type R was far more suited to their climate and road conditions than a Saab or Volvo.
