I have noticed that it is no longer possible to edit the title of a tread I have started.  Or, if it is possible, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to do it.

I used to be able to change the date in the title whenever I posted now images but now I can't.  If I can't change it, would it be possible for you to eliminate the date in the title and shorten it to just "Tennessee Shite"?

This is ok, unless there's been a particularly good night or so of it and you haven't been able to look in, or you've been away for the weekend and 4 or 5 pages of stuff has gone up.  Any chance of changing the forum so that it displays something like:

How do you stop youtube links automatically embedding the video in the post?

 

I'm having the opposite problem... whenever I try to post a YouTube video I just get a hyperlink. Is it something I'm doing wrong? I'm copying the url and pasting it, not using the 'link' icon.

Use the 'share' tab and copy & paste the shortened url (not the main 'www...' one in the browser's address bar) straight into the reply box. (Use the quote button on my post to see what I mean)

Smileys - As I use a tablet device daily and no longer use a Desktop Computer, I have noticed that the smilies no longer show up for me as I am using a mobile device. Is there anyway of fixing this please?

What's going on with the forum outages?

The site was down for a while the night before last, then back up yesterday around 07:30am. Today it's been down for a few hours this morning and back up around shortly after 8am.

Thanks Fred, but the version I'm using is the full version, I have selected the 'use emoticons' box but still nowt comes up. The link at the bottom is the link to the mobile version which I might use instead.

 

EDIT - I've used the mobile version, its too sparse and not Brown/Beige enough for me.

 

I reckon I'll just do without it.
