Guest Snaggle Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Hi people, just thought i would best saying hello and introducing myself before posting on any topics I'm from the Wirral and i'm into oddball gas guzzlers that nobody else tends to want although i have had my fair share of mk1 and mk2 fiestas in the past. I have had quite a few MR2 cars including the Mk1 and MK2, theres something about them i really like, especially the Mk1. Tomorrow i am throwing a bid in on an MR2 Turbo, it has a rather large looking oil leak and a snapped alternator belt as well as a smashed windshield, i'll post a thread up if i happen to buy it at the right price. My main car (my baby) is a 1992 vauxhall astra GSi 16v with the C20XE Redtop engine which i bought as a scrapper 3 years ago and saved, thats currently in the garage on sorn as the tax ran out in april and i have been running around in my other cars. Well hi anyway, look forward to reading some threads, pretty late now so i'm off to bed

I nearly bought an AW11, with the intention of building a mk1.5, before I bought my current old motor.It was in your neck of the woods where I viewed said mk1, and my life was threatened. Wallasey Motors to be exact... A mate of mine has had a few decent mk2 Turbos. His present one being a nice, tin-top Rev 3. I do like the drive of them.
Guest Snaggle Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 wallasey motors on seaview road? i've heard a few horror stories. trigger: i'm not station, lol, i know station though, he told me about this forum, he had a garage in our yard, in fact he has bought a couple of my old cars, MR2 and Starion turbo. This astra still needs finishing, be throwing a new clutch in soon and finishing the bodywork, oh and ripping the tights off the lights.
