Is it a fake Ghia? I thought they only did base and L (and a few specials) and in the 3 door.

3-door GL and Ghia apparently available from 1980 to 1983, with both 1300 and 1600 engines, according to an old Parker's Guide I have here.

In the small town of Kardamena on Kos. It’s warm here but close to the sea. This poor old boy had rust holes in the roof.

I spotted an original KA, with half its right sill missing. At a guess, MOT rules are non existent here in Greece as are the police. Not seen any yet.

This came up in a FB group a few days ago, cars can rot in the strangest ways on the islands. Here's a Volvo V40, Mk1 Focus and Polo with a slowly dissolving roofs:

I spotted this absolute beauty in a driveway in Barnet. What's odd is that I walk round here regularly and have never seen in before:

Well, as suspected, north Wales is full of AS worthy spots. Trouble is that most were in farmyards or rural driveways where I couldn't easily get a snap. 205s dominate, with shagged Land Rovers and older jap 4x4s making a strong bid.

I have to say I'm impressed at the dedication and hopeful nature of those choosing a convertible.

This Morris resides near me and is used most days by an older lady.

It's the right year, the right colour and it has got the Minor Million badges attached so it probably is one of the 350 (one for each dealership) special edition cars made in 1961.

Back to the Canary Islands after 30 years. In '95 I hired an Ibiza so it was good to see a few still around.  All of them significantly sun-damaged, even a white one.

Or, you can have a "box fresh" 207 that's been sitting at Cherwell Valley services for some time.

I appreciate it's not proper AS fodder, but it's incredible to see what my mind considers a "newish" car abandoned

I like a 207. Gopping looks but you don't have to see them when you're driving it, and I think they drive perfectly nicely.

As, I can imagine, does this.

In the last few years I have grown a huge appreciation for a very average old/dated car that is being used and kept going. In many cases I think that is more interesting than a much rarer car that someone has spent loads of time and money restoring and now rarely uses.

Lovely. Absolutely spotless inside and out. I've seen it a few times around my way so I think it's being used as a daily.
