Delighted to see this earlier. Judging by the sleeping bags and fridge box in the back, it's still providing temporary accommodation 47 years later.

Like many of the women on this estate, come to think of it...

I saw an MGB today. I was about to silently berate the owner for driving in the sun with his hood up, but as it passed me I noticed all the gaffer tape holding the soft top together.

Who am I trying to kid, I'm never going to start my own spotted thread. I'll just leave these here.

Immaculate, seen near work. Looking again, I see an old Mini across the road too:

Work carpark 205 GTI. Sad that you can't see how hanging it actually is; the only giveaway is the faded black plastic, but the whole thing is a mishmash of patches and filler!

Actually, work could supply a whole spotted thread all by itself. People here drive some real piles. I just need to build up the balls to walk around taking photos and have a good enough explanation.

Early booted Cav on the way to work. Looked pretty immaculate:

Popped down my local 'vehicle solutions' place recently. This was the MOT compound. Vanette and LDV.

The 205 GTI is a mate of mine's. Just had a three year restoration including full respray and interior, then a dozy bint ran into it.

This improved an otherwise mundane visit to Homebase. Mid 70s Ford Ranchero owned by a local couple who I see tooling round in it a lot looking out of time and place. Love it.

Yoghurt explosion! That Ranchero is the bollocks, great looking truck! It needs nothing and should never be restored or even washed. Love the shitty black stain down the side.

^ What Dan said.  I also like the bent number plate on the back, as if someone's being doing wheelies in it like a rented scooter in Ibiza.
