175k miles on the Grand Cherokee, still looking great for a car of this age around here.

Also Celica notchback!

Even when moving, these things give off yard couch vibes.  Wallowy slouchy saggy looking things.  Naturally, I'd love to own one.

This one was an Ultra so supercharged 3800! Great cars.

Just absurd.  Hopefully it also had a red velour interior to match the burgundy and silver exterior.

Opel Vectra! Long time since I saw one around here, and this seems well looked after.

Been off the road since 1986 I think. Not looking good for going back on it.

Certified cockroach of the road and Saturn Vue, the latter I noticed to be surprisingly often to be found still.

Avalon - Surprisingly popular for an entirely forgettable sedan now replaced by the Crown crossover thingy.

Infiniti QX4, the beginnings of Infiniti luxury SUVs, utterly obscure.

Sevier County apparently still uses Crown Vics 10 years after production ended.

The Oldsmobile Delta 88 (in Royale trim) was the highlight of the day. Wish more cars of this era would still be around.

The QX56 is one of the more obscure fullsize luxury SUV options yet tons of them can be seen everywhere in Tennessee.

The Saturn SC2 is another car that has almost completely vanished despite having few flaws. Just one of those cars that nobody ever tried to maintain properly.

Delightfully scruffy brown Merc on ROI historic import plates, seen in central Belfast yesterday.

By way of a bonus, the fella pushing the baby buggy in the background is actor James Nesbitt.

You'll have to take my word for it, but it was definitely him - he nearly rammed me with the buggy on on the pedestrian crossing...

I could take a photo of pretty much any car here and it would be unusual in the UK.

Modern Lincolns are a little more interesting to me though as it a little trickier for me to define how "luxurious" they really are, they just rarely make it over the pond.

The MKZ is basically a luxury Mondeo.

The Acura RL is just a Legend, still one of the older cars around though.

The Mustang turned out to be a real Shelby GT500 with a manual, making it worthy of a photo.

E30s are as popular as anywhere else, no surprise there.

The Apache truck was just decoration for the local tourist magnet restaurant in Pigeon forge.

The landau top on this CTS is everything that's wrong with pensioner's tastes post-2000. Imagine being the design director of Cadillac trying to revive the brand in the early 00s, severing the ties to their last 30 years of decline (because their target market was pretty much in the grave by then), only for some oap to slap a fake convertible top on your halo sports luxury sedan.

Also Dakota and Ranger, both red, midsize, shortbed trucks that were extinct in the states up until recently.
