Back_For_More Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 New Addington presents - the DRAGON BUS - apparently on Arsebook if you want to look for it/them...... LT84, Dick Cheeseburger, mitsisigma01 and 5 others 8
Back_For_More Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Traveller site nearby and the old guy on there has these - I missed the White FORD - will get it when I pass later. He was a decent guy and happy someone was interested in the old girls..... He's put a lot of work into them..... This is almost finished and this is on site carthorse duties but the handbrake recently gave out and one of the larger bits of detritus cost him the rear tyre on this one - new tyres were piled up outside his shed awaiting fitting it had a HUGE slab of marble in the back too - with other building detritus. They all earn their keep for sure. Will pap the white Ford when I get by again Yoss, CreepingJesus, Datsuncog and 10 others 13

Datsuncog Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Seen coming out of Belfast Harbour last weekend... Some high-end Sapphires. Also, got a slightly better pic of the Fiesta Turbo at the end of the street. Says it's only been out of MOT since November, surprisingly. The rampant bootlid rust suggests things are less than fantastic below the surface... LT84, Dyslexic Viking, Dick Cheeseburger and 2 others 5
The Vicar Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Love the badging on that gold Sierra....nearly half the length of the boot lid! Datsuncog 1
Datsuncog Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 lt's hard to make out, but I think it says 'Sierra 2.0i GLS' - just as well the 'Sapphire' badging is so small and below, otherwise it might have had to go right round the side...
Joey spud Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Corrola KE70 spotted today. It's a recent import from Sri Lanka and a rough old dog with thick filler on just about every panel and a strange bulging front edge to the roof where the screen fits. And this was next to it. Crushed nuts anyone ? LT84, Datsuncog, CreepingJesus and 3 others 6

Back_For_More Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 OK - a few more - including the Old White Ford..... EDIT - just noticed I caught his old Merc in the background - it's mint - I'll get a shot of it asap too with a 306 looking dead n buried and this in use - number plate sad BAD - it most definitely is - more like sodding AWFUL Quintus, Datsuncog, wheel nut and 9 others 12
Back_For_More Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 then a shonker around the corner saved the day - daily rough as the proverbial badgers choc starfish His project sitting looking a bit rough in front of the living room - what a view! and the 5yr replacement requirement chassis up against the garden wall there's a monstrous thing in a garden over t'other side of tracks - I'll head that way soon I think - looks promising Dyslexic Viking, LT84, CreepingJesus and 2 others 5

Jack D Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 1.3, not sure on spec. Dealer fit sunroof, 29,000 miles. Always thought the glass on these 145s was peculiar. Three separate pieces on that rear three quarter panel. CreepingJesus, AnnoyingPentium, Datsuncog and 1 other 4
Back_For_More Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 almost forgot the garden of horrors...... Ford Transit box van in its death throws - the caravan sans wheels and the Range Rover that is up on axle stands........ proper class in the grass although these may qualify as dumped - to be fair Dyslexic Viking, AnnoyingPentium and CreepingJesus 3
Zelandeth Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Not something you see every day any more. ...Not totally sure why the owner seems to have chosen the number plate style and position to block as much surface area of the intercooler as possible... Quintus Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Spotted these two in Devon (Postbridge to be precise). I Googled how to decipher German numberplates and wonder if they might be examples of German vanity plates, which are apparently available for a small fee. Seems a coincidence that the 350SL has the same number on the plate and the silver one has 560. However, if the silver car is a 560SL then it's an import as the 560 was apparently only sold in the USA, Canada, Japan and Australia. SteersWithThrottle, 500tops, mitsisigma01 and 1 other 4
Back_For_More Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 The 1st 2 letters are the regional definition - so Wu iirc is Wurzburg....... NF is North Friesland....... More craptatic from Addington area..... Brick Handbrake a favourite around here - Passat sat for a long time and the van owner has a LWB version - perhaps keeping this for spares? and the VW recently ended up in the air with the Shogun on the drive blocked in by it - I left a note on the Pajero/Shogun - see if they bite The tarp'd thing I thought was a Merc has RR as in Royce - hubcaps - but photo messed up - will pap later - although mostly tarp so not much to see. T4 not come out too - both yesterday afternoon - so it was me I suppose. More later....... Dyslexic Viking 1
