So.... this guy in a van, towing 4wheel trailer a good 1ft 6in wider both sides, is in the outer lane at the lights.

The taxi in the near lane screeched to a halt as the van man nearly dices the taxi onto the kerb/railings as we all pull away.

 

Taxi... Well, y'know... drives alongside and remonstrates animatedly with van man.

 

Traffic stops again, taxi driver still remonstrating & signalling 'wind down window' hand gestures. Window stays resolutely up..

 

Taxi man grabs doormirror - driving on again now - and gave a good account of what he had in store for the van man.. lol

I towed a four wheel car trailer through central London once. It's not easy.

At one point another driver decided to merge into my lane, behind my car, so between the car and trailer. If I had moved off the trailer would have ripped the front of her car off.

I say the taxi driver should have left room for the trailer.
