Those multi-spoke style alloys are surely some of the prettiest ever produced.

Blimey, there's hens' teeth, then there's rocking horses' do-dos, then there's Yugo Sanas...

Ta Tim, towcar is a regular daily. It had just driven back from the Getman border, and leaves tomorrow for Leeds. I find it suits my dodgy back , and is comfortable over long distances. Shows fuel consumption of 30.6 towing, soncant be all bad,

The Sana is ex Glover, who has been really patient. I originally said yrs, but wasnt well enough yo go get so agreed to let it go. Seems that buyer fell through, so feeling better, re- agreed.

However ,it took 3 further attempts to get there, illness, work and a disintegrating driveshaft all aborting trips.

Sana seems sound. Its had some welding over the years, has a few dings etc, and is filthy inside, hut its liw mileage original, so should be back on the road soon.

I did wonder what ever happened to the Sana. Now I know, nothing happened to it. Until now.

Great news.

Also, if you are running out of room with all these cars I am happy to look after the 117 for you for a bit. I am nice like that.

If 117 is too much for you i'll take the renaults!

More?  I would have called that one a calendar shot, how many more do you need????

Pics in due course, I guess. Ive more of the same, but see no point. I'll put a few up when its legal.

Initial inspection shows a lot of 'MOT' welding, some may need redoing. Its clearly had attentionto the brakes/ steering / suspension , but frankly its as complicated as a Lego car. Its mileage 36k, seems to be right, according to the history. Off the road since 09, with a lengthy fail sheet - mostly rectified as far as I can see.

Its running wrong, tickover is all over theplace, but i think thats a combination of old fuel and too much time on tickover. A good Italian tune will be my first course, then we'll see. Whatever the problem ,it cant be difficult.

I'll rag it around a few miles, then sling it in for a fail; and go from there.

It fits my style, its weird, bland, a bit obscure. If we get on I might try to fit a tipo sedo( or more likely a Coupe 16v) as there seems stacks of space in the engine bay.

So, not much from me,on this for a while. Soz

Updates from the Bickle fleet are always keenly anticipated and never disappoint! Top work on the Sana, I feared they might have gone the way of the dodo.

Well thank you, kind Sir. Frankly i feel a bit left wing here, so keep a low(ish) profile.

More happening slowlynas my damaged back heals, thankfully.

Definitely a calendar shot.  Very glad to hear your back is on the mend, Nigel.

I can only endorse this, it’s a pleasure to see what Nigel gets up to.

I remember doing a bit of Art homework on the Sana at school, I remember cutting a picture out of Auto Express and then redrawing it in crayon.

Awesome on the Sana, if it not been due to uni commitments/not having the space for a car that needs work, I would have snapped that up.

Looking very forward to the updates.

Nige is on the mend and his post count is increasing.
Both excellent points. No need for a fully electronic system.

Other side of Brussels, A framing's illegal -but will that stop me?

Long time dead, locked ignition.

What could possibly go wrong?

Its a Seat, by the way. No4.

Is there no cure?

Marvelous. Good work Mr B!

Where/how do you keep finding this stuff!?

However you do it, keep on doing it!

Another vote of positivity from me and great to see so many unusual stuff on this thread, though I get that that's the crux of your collecting! I'd say not to worry too much about posting stuff on here, now that moderators are working quietly in the background. You do seem to have caught some flak in the past, granted but I think most of them have been chucked off here. Anyone who introduces a 1970's SEAT to a country it was never marketed in is OK in my books!

Any update on the Bellel?

Nigel does it again - another car I've never even seen before. What the hell is it?

Posted

Seat Boccanegra 1430. Kinda a Fiat 128 3p ripoff, ish

Not exactly.

He made that address up to get it on Leboncoin. Seems Belgies can't useit, and he hoped to get to the Spanish community...

About 20 miles south east of Brussels. No biggy.
