Sorry, just to clarify: that's an image stolen from the Ebay ad attached, though the Velox I saw was the same colour but no box and aforementioned damage, etc. It's my birthday in a couple of weeks or so, so I might treat myself to it. The shop won't be open until Friday now, so let's see if it's still there then.

Loving the Fraud Incontinental, like how Corgi made it with the aftermarket cab aircon pod on the roof as well

Sad if hornby go to the wall.

It was in the back of my mind when I bought Charlie his first car - at 3 months old he is too young but it is there when he is old enough.

It is a corgi discovery - police of course.

When I'm not utterly fucking skint, I want that Vanguards wedge

Junkyarddog's Corgi transporters reminded me that I've now got enough Matchbox Cortinas to fill this Corgi Mercedes that I've had for nearly 40 years. The black car is actually a Taunus,I think I'll get away with it though.

One of my Favorite muscle cars,

got this in my head now.

Nice catch....I wanted one of these when they came out!   That brief period of proper wheels and Kingsize cars was too short.   I have the Cougar and the Binz ambulance but....Damn going to have to flick over to Ebay now!

Was very happy to find it,

pity the condition isn't a bit better, lots of chips on the paint.

First one I have found.paid ten euro for it.

Seems a reasonable price to me....There is an empty box on Ebay for a fiver!   I think there was some kind of paint issue with these deep lustre Kingsize models, they seem to be less resilient to play wear than the earlier ones.

I had no idea that King Size produced something so nicely proportioned. The Superkings of the 80s are ace too but the wheels they fit are about a scale foot wide!

The one seems to have very little play wear,

just years of not very careful storage I reckon.

Forgot to mention,it has steering too 8)

I'd seen. It was on a stall of a guy that does house clearance. He had a box full of 70's to 90's Matchbox. I was struggling to resist the temptation to buy the lot. I'm guessing either he doesn't know the value or can't be arsed. The Scammell is particularly nice, save for a slight crack in the roof light it's in very good condition.

Put the Hot Wheels on EBay. I'm not a big fan of them, got them here simply because as you say they are in demand so might get a few quid on them.

I had that Dodge Commando, although mine wasn't Kellogg's, but Smith's Crisps. You had to get the tokens off the packets and send them off. It came in a plain white box.... I think I also got a special edition 'Temple of Doom' poster circa 1984 the same way...

Those were the days, either collecting tokens from food packets or getting a free gift in the packet. Why doesn't that happen anymore?

I'll have a look next week. There was some glorious stuff like super kings tractor units. At the time I thought hang on let's not go daft.
