Can anyone identify this? It will originally have been part of a set. Marked "Hong Kong" on the exhaust.

If it is not a Christmas cracker toy but about 5 inches long, it looks remarkably similar to the link, if not identical.

Edit: Or this one, which has the bracket for stabilising wheels:-

That's it, thanks! The one I have is slightly shorter at just under 4 inches long.

lot of group b stuff, saw them and thought hmm, 4 quid a pop, left behind a focus wrc (have a 1/18 model of mcrae's) and a pug 307.... @Flat4 appreciated L555BAT being a scoob nut

not a massive rally fan but with those prices i couldnt pass them

What’s the plan? I really like these but never spot a bargain, I’ve often thought they’d make an excellent Haliki Eleanor.  Will keep looking!

I'm leaving this one alone - only seen red ones before, think there are 70s originals and later James Bond ones? They always seem to attract bids anyway.

Seen three red versions that I know of, likely different castings

I’ve had one of those Capris in my eBay watchlist a while, it looks better in the flesh (bar those carbuncle headlight washers), I wonder if the alloys might appear on an XR4 (Or Orion Ghia injection!) model in the near future?

Those alloys look more like the steels on the 1.6LS Capris.

Not seen this version on the Majorette Beetle before, two holes in the rear window and glass moulded to make a roof light. The glazing is also warped as if it had a bulb in it at one time

Got to the bottom of this, it's actually a car air freshener/keychain of all things

Rolls done. Took my time with this one, agonised for days over the paint as I wanted gloss and satin black but knew I'd never hide a masked line. Think what I came up with worked.

Engine and side pipes from the Matchbox K-50 model T hot rod, lizard from (I think) a 57 Chevy model kit I built as a teenager. Steering wheel out of the spares box, wheels off a pull-back Ferarri

Having a couple of nights away, and saw there were a couple of car boots nearby.

The 1st one was quite big,but I only found these two

20200906_130405.thumb.jpg.c260b7974d38aaee847b59ea77116aba.jpg

The next one was smaller, but I found this lot within five minutes of arriving

Most came from one stall, but the ADAC Beetle was in a box marked £1.00.When I went to pay,the woman would only take 20p,as she thought it had come out of a bag of cars for a pound ?20200906_131151.thumb.jpg.25e774ae6f8959b2689fe37e2c230843.jpg

I had a bit of a sort out - my tat is jammed together. I thought I would sort the matchbox from the rest. Sometimes you forget what you have hoarded -

Skybusters. As a mere tot I had more of a thing for these than superfast or juniors.

I should probably use this to inform Market Blokey that the arse has dropped out of Rockets values, but because I'm nice I'll take all his off his hands for £4...

that one is better than mine! i hate to wonder how much it cost you though....

here is mine.  its a lovely model, well i think so anyway, the jeweled headlamps were a nice touch. i thought it strange however that corgi made it in 1/43 scale, as had been traditional, where as most new castings at the think this was released were been made in the larger 1/36 scale.

it was £25 + £4.95p&p so not too horrendous

as for why 1:43 it was released in 1971 so 1:36 was still a few years away

i had one years ago and popped it apart for repaint etc so wanted another

want a tinacorner gxl as well
