Cheers Tim, I think you've got a bus knocking about for me somewhere; more than happy to get these bits out of your way when you're ready. Issue me a sternly worded final demand and I'll remunerate accordingly.

No bother - the OOC Yelloways Plaxton's absolutely still here, so will get the old abacus out once tomorrow's visit concludes! Hopefully the items requested are all still available; updates to follow!

All is not lost!

eBay seller sent sent me this last night, in case I had interest in filling the box of previous wins from him

That is a busy rug. Difficult to distinguish between vehicles and pattern.....

My littlun brought some gifts with him this weekend...

Sadly the Supra boot is bent out of shape and the SM has a bent axle.

Might be worth gentle use of a hairdryer on the Celica hatch, and you can get/make a tool for straightening axles...

Immersing in hot water might help to reshape it too; they're not really a great fit sadly - my Supra's been owned from new and its hatch doesn't lie flat either, and I think the one 155V6 was selling the other week was similarly challenged. Still, an excellent haul though!

Fingers crossed the Mustang'll be there next week!

Okay then... not looking too stormy yet, though the greenhouse is rumbling ominously as the wind gets up... off out to get my hair whacked, and see what the shop in Whitehead has to offer!

There seem to be multiple variants of Lone Star Beach Buggy - that's all they say on the base but I have

This is an eBay screenshot showing three variations

Googling boxed versions reveals there are:

"535 Santa Monica" (no headlights, smooth sides, lights on roof)

"533 Monteray" (stepped sides, small headlights, rear roof pillars)

"534 Malibu" (dropped sides, large headlights, no rear roof pillars)

"532 Catalina" (dropped sides, headlights, rear roof pillars)

"536 San Diego" (headlights, rear roof pillars)

There also seem to be roof variations between models, as all bodies can take either roof

Also led me to a great list of Lone Stars (and other brands)

Going to hit up Tesco later see what they’ve got in. Last weeks Banana car went down well, a bit too well in fact. Last Saturday evening wound up in a big row between the youngest and eldest about whose bedroom it was going to live in. Fortunately the following morning they’d calmed down and played together with my old Matchbox track.

Hmmm... after the longest haircut of my life, I scuttled over to Whitehead to find...

FFS.

Dunno whether this is impending storm-related or what, but I'd agreed with the owners I'd be over on Saturday morning and they were fully agreeable...

Away to get some groceries and will then call back round. Maybe the alarm clock didn't go off...

I picked up this rather nice Siku Mercedes log truck with grab yesterday.

It's in mint condition, but the logs are missing, but at €4.00 I'm not going to complain.

You like it Smoll Eddy??

The fire engine is a regular wheels matchbox, no?

Yeah, something like that. Says Lesney on the bottom.

Thought this was but now I look again...

The 911 is rather cool too.

Not worried about the Lesney if Egg wants it
