vulgalour
yup, finally got the work room set up and some head space so this weekend (Sunday/Monday) has been all about chilling the fuck out and not doing any DIY. It's been nice. Burnside, Skizzer, egg and 1 other

bunglebus
Anyway, had a play with a couple of 1:64s today; This is partly done and partly mocked up. Corgi Bugs Bunny body/chassis, buggy interior. I like the bullbars and oversize engine on the Bugs version, there are multiple differences in the body and base, so there has been lots of cutting and grinding to get the interior to fit. Also need to source or make a windscreen. This one was in a shit state as can be seen from the pitting on the bullbars 20191211_144003 by RS, on Flickr 20200217_142459 by RS, on Flickr This one is painted and ready to go back together once it's cured. flat4alfa
In Smyths got this for £7 I think I got excited at the BMW 2002 and Nissan 510 Dolly and Ken said that as my Fuzzy head is now clear after peering through the acetate a few times to get my hit, so I have agreed to take it back Split_Pin
flat4alfa
In B&M got this Dolly & Ken said similar on this too. Why I paid £20 for just 3 cars I was interested in, beats me. Especially as the tampo is poor on some. Returned with gusto
flat4alfa
So as a result of the daft impulsiveness mentioned above, the hit list is now reduced in cost to: Red Ken & Mary Police Skyline to go with my White Ken & Mary Police Skyline HW 2-door Hudson Hornet to go with my Matchbox 4-door one, all liveries considered but this tips the pack: A BMW 2002 in this livery, the reverse of the one in that current 5-pack VW SP2, been around since the ark of the covenant, but this colour scheme appeals Sudsprint and 59Impala

eddyramrod
I still have one of those MB Sables in my Projects Box. The idea, of course, is to cut down the rear and reshape it into a sedan, like the white one I had a few years ago.

AndyW201
Just nipped to my local Aldi asnd grabbed a couple of packs of Hot Wheels, The '96 Porsche Carrera is a favourite casting of mine and I'm liking this yellow version, and though the Acura NSX isn't really my thing, it's a nice wee version. And I was pleased to get the one with the Lotus and the Chiron together, Alas no sign yet of the pack with the gold Porsche 944, the hunt continues!
