Oh yes, and I also bought the 1/43 Calibra, which was the ostensible reason I went back!

A boxless Del Prado magazine partwork so not brilliantly detailed, and there's a few marks here and there which may come out with a bit of gentle rubbing with T-Cut or similar - but hey, he only charged me £2 for it, so my tears will dry.

So yeah. A fiver for the lot. Reckon that's not too shabby.

Tim if you want to rehome the CX there is a space at mine for it! I have a particular fondness for Spanish- made models.

Great finds!

Cheers dude, and yes a new home will be on the cards for the CX (which is a pleasantly heavy casting) - I might give it a bit of a clean and admire it on my desk for a few weeks before I punt it over your way, yeah? Consider it yours (eventually)!

Actually, it's just struck me that I should probably hoke out the dregs of last year's Grand Clearance Sale and pop them up here, just in case there's anything else that might appeal to anyone.

The Volvo and caravan look especially appropriate together! :)

Yup, the beige and orange go together quite well, don't they?

Can't wait to get these home and give them a bit of a tickle with a soft toothbrush; should bring them all up nicely.

Should be in the selfies thread, but couldn't resist posting this 1983 photo of me and my little bro receiving new mini-shite that has just re-surfaced!

Phoar, Ritmo and 131 Abarth. Niiiice!

I think I had that 131 in the yellow and blue colourway, but sadly those Bburagos seem to didn't stand up to my play scenarios (which appeared to involve an awful lot of high speed crashes, IIRC) - did yours fare any better?

I like the fiat's. The nearest I got was a majorette strada. I had the corgi volvo. Mine was light metallic green. I need to

look for another.

Great pic ha ha! I have that 131 in the blue and yellow, purchased in 2003. Had it belonged to me in 1983 it would definitely not jave survived as none of the others did from that time in my life!

The axles on mira cars are made of glass.

Zylmex used to make good metal aircraft called dynaflites.

You might well find one among my stock, I'll see what I can dig out.

They didn't survive with us either, sorry to say. Not sure quite what happened to them, but they're not with me. Typical my brother got the sporty one, a tradition that exists to this day with full size shite...

This photo was taken at my grandparents house, and as it is summer expect they were a post-holiday gift from them.

that looks ready to go out in a caravan demolition derby, add some numbers and random names and it will be perfect

I had the Bburago XR3, my parents threw it away after it losing a wheel. Painful memories.

The 1982 Dodge Aries K-series sedan look's like a Motor Max "Fresh Cherries" series. I've got a identical one somewhere and another in a different colour but also have a pair of Dodge Omni's too. I have this one pictured to hand. Picked them up from TK Max about 6/7 years ago for £3 each. Found these are also available in 1:24/1:25 scale on ebay last year.

Me and my brother had a corgi Volvo Estate too. Think ours was white in a Castrol Oils Livery with a Roof Rack?

I have a couple of MotorMax Fresh Cherries cars. Unusual pieces, diecast, 1/76 scale and released years ahead of Oxford Diecast.

My examples are a US spec Ford Escort and a MK1 Ford Tempo. They have separate light lenses and I think rubner tyres too.

Motor Max in America do the 1980s Dodge Diplomat in an assortment of police liveries, in both 1/43 and 1/24.  Whenever I see one on ebay I chase it, but it's hardly a full-time job, they barely exist over here.  One version is a blank car, black with a white roof and four white doors.  The photos I've seen suggest this is only available at 1/24.  I had a 1983 Plymouth Gran Fury, essentially the same car, and that was the livery it came in!  So if anyone finds their path crossed by one of these, do please let me know!

This 'stanced' Renault Floride/Caravelle was also part of the Ami deal. Needs a tailight and the chrome repainting.

Found a white hatchback Vectra that will become a Cavalier :)

I also found a white one, mine from Bulgaria had reduced the price to £4 as one of the tailgate hinges is broken. I still had to pay £4.99 postage but I confirmed I wanted it on the 7th Jan and it arrived in todays post.
