This is the photo on the old Falkensteiner site, made many years ago, and clearly not the same example having a scuff on the roof sticker edge

It's a pre-production colour trial, listed as assumed genuine.

I thought there was just the one red produced with the Dunlop & Cibie stickers, but it's clear there are at least two red examples (with stickers) ...if the current one listed for sale is in fact genuine.  Squinting here, but the bonnet and roof look age-tainted, compared to the questionable door sticker

Oh look the M&S-only Buick Century Regal Fire Chief

Offered in selected stores 1978-9 (likely Xmas stock), produced by Corgi and fitted with the double light-bar arrangement as the Superman Metropolis version.  I expect the Corgi branding was removed, but never having seen one in the flesh, cannot confirm.  GO ON, BUY IT SO WE CAN FIND OUT

Corgi did produce both 924 and 944 Porsches though

It's lush.  Best colour of the lot

Have / did have a red one too, somewhere.  But never the blue one though with the 'Elite 2+2' stickers.

The twin-pack from 1982: Seagull Gliding Club

'Seagull' stickered green production was also released as a single, with three interior colours to choose from

Casting pulled by end 1983.

Resurrected as a GT for 1986 in red, this example sitting next to my boyhood first release

Then pulled as a GT in 1988 and by then in the best colour ever Purple

Never seen again   ...until that Fast Lane series 1983 pre-production trial idea, it seems

@quicksilver or anyone else, can you help me with a source to get files for 1/76 cars please? I'm looking for a Rover 75 but others would be fine.

The ones in ebsy are £80 😳 so something a little more palatable would be great!

How do these things work for reproducing say a pair of motorbikes off the back of an MB Holden?

I must have stumbled upon a big restock in Smyths, starting with some new Neon Speeders. These are pretty far out, so I only pick up ones I really like, such as the Honda N600...

...and the volksrod Beetle 

They also had these rather excellent and unexpected Salt Flat Racers, which are right up my street. I can't tell you which I like more, the Willys...
