I think it’s part of the ‘unforgettable cars of Mexico’ collection.

US built as the Mercury Cougar, sold in Mexico as a Ford.

Chevy Impala. 
Chevy Impala custom coupe from Bond collection.    
Chevy C10 square body from some Argentina cars collection.

 

Opel Rekord I think from the Opel collection.
Ford Escort mk4 from the same Argentina collection as the Chevy C10.

 

Some are going to get stripped and sprayed, some are good as they are I think.
I need to make a little diorama to display these!

Oh nice!  I especially like the blue 67 Chevy, and the pickup.

The pickup seems one of the more difficult to find ones from that collection. It’s a nice short bed C10 though, one of the last of that type being an 80’s one when they started fitting fuel injection to the C10’s small block engines. I’d have liked an earlier square body version but I couldn’t find one.

The blue Impala is actually a Kinsmart one with pull back n go motor! In that respect it’s toy like, but the body and detail parts are much more model like. Strange really! It looks good though and it’s available in four colours too.

This arrived today. After loosing two Schabak T4s on a Swedish auction site I was quite depressed. The price went thru the roof on both of them and I just couldn’t justify it. But I found out that this plain white Caravelle was finishing a couple of days later. This time there was no bidding war so here it is.

BMW, red trailer and Fire Chief are a quid each, Merc and Citroen are 50p because they're incomplete.

Oh and @bunglebus I've found a couple of Dubs you might be  able to use.  Your box is filling up!  Gradually though, it's only up to 3 items so far.

As well as the aforementioned Viper from Aldi I got this Delta in my local Poundstretcher today - they had more of them if anyone is desperate.

They seemed to have some new (old) Matchbox stuff in too, including black Mercedes TE and red MR2s with lights up or down (didn't look closely enough to see if they had both LHD and RHD variants).

Those Schabaks are quite nice for the era that they were made. I've had a few vans in the past.

Also had a few T3 as well.

Never understood why the Polizei Bus had big alloys on it

I made the best out of Black Friday and went EEREC (East-Europe Rear Engine Crazy). So today the two following packages arrived. More to come in the following days because I went absolutely crazy on a variety of online shops and auction sites. Tatra 1/18 and Skoda 1/24.

No Proton excitement here, a more humble selection of purchases by me today:

Boxed Matchbox from a different branch of Poundstretcher. They also had a fair few of the Mercedes and HW Delta Integrale.

Greenlight Datsun was from a little collectables toy shop I hadn't visited before. They also had a '66 Patrol plus modern Nissan Z - the latter isn't of as much interest to me, but I might find time to go back for the Patrol and have a better look to see what else they had.

I do like Greenlight models. More pricey than the usual 1:64 size stuff but more detailed too. The 1:43’s are just as nice.
