I was going to go to Errol Toyfair in May but seeing some of the sorts of prices above I don't think I'll bother.

It's now the only Toyfair in Scotland so it'll be full of sweaty old men in piss-stained joggies (who all seem to know each other)  selling dross at exhorbitant prices.

I'd rather wait for tat Friday or another of Dan's Big Job Lots of Joy.

Onto purchases! I almost managed to escape with a picture of the queen still in my wallet, but once again ended up borrowing some groats for the final few things I was encouraged to buy...

Starting with Matchbox, tidy Baja Bouncer

944 seemed tidier than my current one

Same story with this T-top Corvette

I can't remember if I have the van version of the CX - I know I own the blue estate

This one is unusual but needs a lot of help - thinking of using the later hot rodded one as a donor for the glass. Was white once

Am I right thinking the Ford Pick-Up isn't often seen with the wider Superfast wheels?

Don't think that sticker is factory. Tidy and complete though

I needed a Grifo door donor - ended up with a complete overpainted one for not a lot

Can't resist an Angular - this was a package deal with another car...

This is the one that sent me into negative pennies, I missed this seller's table on the school stage with all the train nerd stuff. Wonky axle aside it's really nice

Another one that @andrew eshoved under my nose - anyone know what this unusual colour King Size trailer would have been behind originally?

Must be the day for toy fairs.

I'm just back from a local one.

First is this plastic Triumph TR3.

No idea of the manufacturer,no country of origin. 

Roughly Matchbox sized,here with a Corgi Binz ambulance that I intend to try and graft a Sierra front onto,to recreate my Sierra hearse. 

Matchbox Superking Porsche 944.

Carded T bird.

and Rover.

Green light Barracuda. 

Hotwheels Volvo 142GL.

Dinky Capri and a Corgi Mercedes fixer upper. 

Lastly this random bunch of loose Hotwheels and a Matchbox Turbo 2,I bought for the tyres.

Big plastic Tonka belongs on a car transporter 

924 didn't have the usual broken bits but one of the doors is a bit hinky and refuses to stay closed

I found loads of Rockets today

This seems to be a lesser spotted casting - my current one is broken where the base slots into the body

Tidy ess dee won

Onto weirdos - is @flat4alfadrooling over this  Ideal slot car?

Only other Hot Wheels was this Alfa

Thing seem to have swopped round these days. 10 years ago you could pick up loads of cheap stuff at fairs and bung it on fleabay, Now it look like it's better to play buying roulette on fleabay and flog the stuff at fairs.

It's not the wide wheels that are unusual, it's a Superfast version having the white grille/bumper piece. Nearly all Superfast have a chrome one.

As I’m mentioned earlier I’m convinced the trailers are majorette rip offs.

What happens when you’ve got a free weekend, some paint and an empty frozen pizza box?

You get a slightly crappy diorama for some slightly crappy cars!

Still need to add a couple of windows and some finishing touches to it (maybe some little window displays) but once it’s done I’ll continue the street as it were so I can plausible add more cars.

Just won another one on eBay!! And got another one on the way in post too!

I’ll wait until everything is here before updating my 4 sale thread though. 
Same sort of stuff as before, some really old stuff, Matchbox sized and weird odd stuff too. All sorts!

So todays toyfair finds- it wasn’t all mega bucks! These two trucks were £10 the pair!

The Dinky Coles crane is something I’ve unfairly overlooked, it’s almost as good as my SIKU cranes and weighs a tonne. It’s missing a outrigger but it all works otherwise.

This isn’t the Atlas repro but the real thing! Missing a hook it has a really good Bedford cab but did all detail underneath.

Lastly  this Corgi Cortina which was hidden in a tray of matchbox 1/75, looks just like the borderline MOT failure I got a lift to school in (only if it was raining) with my mates mum. Stole this for a fiver 😎

 
Of course these all needed a rinse to get the old man smell and black filth off them, why the sellers don’t do this who knows. Polish  in the week 👍

Not a lot but seen various bits of it on eBay and Facebook - quite easy to shift I would say. This is the only bit I've ever had
