Seems to be the 'Zoom Zombie' from the Monster 500 range of Ed Roth-inspired models, made (exclusively?) for Toys R Us by toymakers Creata. It came with a trading card and, apparently worked with an app for some sort of light 'n' sound guff. junkyarddog
Those ones are a much larger scale, mine is more matchbox/hot wheels 1:64 size.
Datsuncog
The blister-packed one at the top looks to be roughly Hot Wheels scale - going by the hook hanger on the box, anyway. They do seem to have produced them in two sizes - the ones reviewed in the videos are in an open-fronted cardboard box, and appear to be different in a few ways. But Creata seems to be the manufacturer, any road. Great haul, anyway! You can never have too many Lone Star Transits... and those Siku are glorious too. Split_Pin
@junkyarddog I had that Leyland Cement Mixer but it's the Dinky Version. The Joal one looks to be a direct copy? Can anyone confirm? I've got that Siku Kadett and it is indeed very weirdly proportioned. It's still a great wee thing though, I especially like the black moulded wheelarch extensions like the real SR had. Sadly, touring car-inspired racing livery was the best they could manage. I acquired my one of these in a bit of a state from a jumble sale, which is why I wasn't too bothered when it got flattened. I think I might have sacrificed it in a swap for a minty US-spec Summer Rover SD1, which was otherwise going to be squashed by one of my brother's wee mates. And I think the Rover lives with @155V6 these days? I think I have it,not sure where it is though.I do have some halves of cars too which I got from you, maybe your Brother's handiwork? One of the castings that I can't fathom why Mattel didn't make more of. 3 versions and a wheel variation on the grey one, that's it. junkyarddog, Remspoor, andrew e and 1 other
andrew e
Accidentally stumbled on a model shop earlier, and resolutely wasn’t buying anything I didn’t need, despite there being lots I’d happily take home! However I told myself this 1/43 (Corgi?) Brava AA van wouldn’t break the bank at £3.99 and I felt I hoped I help pay for the lights to be on in the shop today 😉 Anyone got any info on it? It’s rather nicely cast, needs a few details picking out with black and it will be perfect. Split_Pin
Just won this on ebay for £2.50. I tried to pay but the I get a message saying the seller doesn't send to my location. AndyW201
Local Morrisons have had a restock, Just grabbed the ones I've been most after, as I was meant to be just nipping in for a few bits... I was almost child-like with joy at finding this. I love it. Never noticed before that it has two different types of wheel. Drift spec Yo... Yes, it would have been nice to have a 240 wagon in standard trim, but there are enough Corgi Junior versions still kicking around for that. This is a nice bit of fun, could have done without the chrome interior though, (it infuriates me when HW do that. What real car has a chrome interior?) But I love the detail on the rear, and as had been mentioned previously, it's weird that it's RHD and has a UK style plate. Reminds me a bit of Bryn Musselwhite's Turbo brick from Retro Cars mag back in the day. Another nod to British owned Volvos has to be the "dags in the back". Brilliant 🤣 Speaking of Volvo estates, the 850 is looking nice in black. And speaking of fast, black '90s estate cars.... One of my favourite castings of recent years. My favourite version is the original RS blue release, but this version looks stunning in black, I think. Those wheels look like period Ronals too, on this one. Lovely. I always like the detail Mattel put into the front and rear of this one too. Couldnt leave without the Intergrowler either. Lovely colour scheme along with the beige (though not exactly rally spec) interior! Will have to go back soon, as there was also the purple Fox body Mustang, the Corvette gasser and the new Lotus Elise casting in yellow. Can't remember seeing a Maxima though, as that is still at the top of the want list. 155V6, RoadworkUK, bunglebus and 2 others

Admire the squareness of the 740 The fins and chrome of the 57 Chevy The Audi 80 fresh from a rally stage The sleek lines of the Porsche 944 The handsomeness of the Volvo 164 The Nissan Cedric with a Peugeot symbol on the roof Imagine you're Steed in a Jag XJC Or Bodie and Doyle in your Capri Or even the Queen in her Silver Cloud Maybe you fancy a bit of retro touring car action in a 3.0 CSL BMW Or want some air cooled action in a 911 This isn't even half of them. Jon
I love my Siku VW pick-up, too. Here it is with my NZ Siku collection: And here it is traversing the Aussie outback, one of its natural environs: An absolute highlight of heading over to the UK in a few days is seeing all my childhood Sikus again - don't think I've set eyes on them since the 90's!
