Somewhat delayed catch-up with the stuff purchased on holiday and since then......

What I managed to get in France. Welly C30 and Majorette C4 intended for @FakeConcern

From Sainsbury's over the past week or two.

From another Sainsbury's this morning. Countach is intended for Master SL. Sadly I couldn't find the Supra in the World Tour series, but may have an opportunity tomorrow. Got two of the Moving Parts RRs if anyone is interested in one?

From this morning's rather quiet toy fair. Apart from the Scalextrix 260Z they were all £1 each, particularly pleasing to get a few Majorettes at that price - I thought the R5 Turbo was a Corgi, be interesting to compare it with the current Majorette. Oldsmobile seems to have been off-roading. The Corgi Mercedes is a rather nice shade of metallic blue. @FakeConcern is the caravan of interest to Mrs FC? It's very tidy, just a shame about the missing hook which I'm sure could be fabricated.

Then finally a few more at £1 each from a local charity shop. Wheels on the HW CRX might go nicely under the Matchbox 260Z?

This Dodge 50 truck is taking an eternity to get done. Soooo much arsing around with filler, rubbing down, more filler, rubbing down, and so on! 
It’s creeping closer to the painting stage though.

  
This little chap is going to be joining it on the SEB fleet. It’s now stripped and in primer ready for paint tomorrow.

Thanks for picking up the C4 for me. I'm not sure about the caravan as Mrs Concern has one, but maybe not that colour. She's getting fussy these days as space is running out in the summer house. I'll find out later and let you know. We're just off to a Toy Fair now so it'll be this evening.

Here you go, fresh from the hand car wash (kitchen sink) as they were potentially a healthy hazard. I think I have two or three more of the SMs in various states of disrepair to get rid of actually

I do attempt to get a 1:43 diecast model of every car I own/have owned as a record of my car history, which has been mostly successful. Most of them are even in the correct colour! The only issues with these are that my SAAB 900 was a 5 door in silver and my Renault Espace is blue. I did paint the Audi myself, but I daren't do it with the 900/Espace models as they are far more intricately detailed!

I really wish that there was a Rover R8 shape had a diecast model as I own / have owned two of those which are sadly missing in model form.

@Spottedlaurel Mrs Concern has had a look at the Majorette caravan, if it's the 1/36 version, she has one but with a white door so if it's £1 then yes please. I have no idea what you paid for the C4, but can either paypal you (I have your email address for this already) or if you live close to the route from Sussex to Norwich (ie A14 or A11) then we could pop in to/from seeing our kids and collect and hand over cash next time we go up.

Toy fair today and I spent much more than intended on these two Spot Ons and a Dinky

they are pretty nice though

I think the bumpers have been replaced, but hey...

This lot were £1 each for parts, the seller gave me one free too. I hope @eddyramrod wants the SPV thing (shout if you want any others, I can only say yes or no!).

Next these where £5 for the two and the Triumph has intact glazing despite missing its boot lid. Now I've properly looked at it, I really like the Solido Renault

£2 each for the awkward looking C4 Coupe and rally Corgi Velox.

I paid £4 each for these

the Dinky Volvo and Escort are pretty tidy and the Corgi Husky seems to have no paint!

Husky is mechanical and the first I've had that actually works. That's not quite true as I have a Consul, but as it has no front wheels doesn't count!

Did you know the Dodge dragster can be found with a flat seat base?

I've certainly never seen one. A bit like a gold K-101 Racing Porsche, which Wiki alleges was made from 1983 to 1986!

There's hardly a picture of one online, let alone any for sale

Yup, it's the 1/36 caravan so sits nicely with Corgi stuff. I need to have a major sort out of the summer's purchases and I'll put it alongside for you along with the C4 and Welly C30. I'll PM you, sounds like we can work something out....

More purchases yesterday when out and about in Ipswich:

Great to find the Supra in a different branch of Sainsbury's, currently with £2.25 knocked-off at £6.75. RX-7 from B&M, Matchbox pair from Poundland and the Datsun/Nissan BRE set was an indulgent purchase at Smyths (as I had some pocket money leftover from Saturday's toy fair).

 

The '91 Sentra was a new one to me, looks to have only ever been available as a Premium?
