  1. 1998 BMW 520i se touring estate petrol manual £795 - Paignton on the English Riviera P/ex to clear on 181K . Manual
  2. 1999 Mercedes-Benz c class classic  £1,200 Listed a day ago in Kidwelly Bad piccies, looks to be S181OLN which has clean MOT till June on 142K miles
  3. 🤦‍♂️Duh - typical, my brain still in the throes of caffeine deficiency there, stoopid. If they need a NOVA to register on the mainland then they're not going to be in those totals . Jersey 1 Mainland Nil.
  4. There's that drop in registrations that comes after the dip in licences which is weird - possibly a batch of company owned ones that 'went away' in preparation for a re-launch? Maybe a whole fleet of ex-CI ones that didn't come to the UK but went off to Malta like you say? India?
  5. I was wondering if there's an export market too? There's not enough SORN each quarter to make up the difference between the drop in vehicles being taxed from the peak number. Either that or their getting scrapped? As in 'plunge' bra I guess?
  6. Bit more Western SMT - couple of years later, double deckers gone - these instead - Lovely*Leyland Leopards
  7. 2003 Jaguar S-Type Has been hand painted with the clown of IT on it. 2.5 Petrol Automatic Drives spot on MOT until march £1250 Says it all I guess?
  8. Ayr, 1974/75 - Western SMT town service Heathfield > Glencairn > Heathfield Somebody popped this up on FaceAche and the Saab in front of the Cortina was thought to belong to my uncle - until I pointed out his was a saloon,
  9. That's for all MG6 models, registrations stopped in 2017 and the downward plunge seems to be accelerating?
  10. Are you stalking me? I've just fell across that in a casual* sweep for 75 Estates - rather eye catching I thought? Just found this 2003 Jaguar s-type £950
  11. +1 for gutties - not heard that in years My wife calls them 'daps'?
  12. Pickup apron on way past the lodge, roll up trouser leg, hop into a Ford StreetKa?
  13. These come in useful pre-MoT time on mine:
  14. I've just tried that on GoCompare - changed the shed value from £1500 to £5000 and the cheapest quoted premium is 30% less. £10,000 is the same as £5,000 - one to bear in mind. Ta! It's also from a company that will not quote on the lowest valuation so it looks like they're more risk averse than others (who'd just whack the premium up)?
  15. Not if you saw what I drive In all seriousness - I would be happy with a third party only cover on 3 out of 4 of our vehicles if it was uber-cheap as I'm not that bothered if a sub £1K worth of car* snuffs it but I do want to have £ gazzilions cover for TP if I have a bad day out. Fully comp is coming up cheaper than TP or TPF&T on all the comparison sites in any case 🤷‍♂️
  16. Actually, a couple seem to bear resemblance to my very best panel beating and welding attempts. We once flattened an Morris Traveller with a digger and it would not have been out of place in that display either - and to think we scrapped it not knowing we were the next Salvador Dalis? Much art is like whiskies or wines that you never drink - beyond my ken.
  17. Ahhh - I thought that just was the learghy/covid/flu/bug that I caught last week. Would it also cause achy joints, stuck lugs and a need for fourteen hours sleep a day? That and a brain fog like after a dozen (bad) pints. Just grumpy 'cos I've not had a flu-like thing for years and years. Bollox.
  18. My first car cost me £400, cost me £400 to insure it too - aged 19, passed my test aged 17. The thing I don't get is why third party only is so much - I'd happily have a no-frills TP Only policy on all of our stuff.
  19. Thought I'd have a laugh and get a quote on a 2002 Micra (1.0 litre) - I'm 60+, full licence since ever, no accidents etc etc and live in the middle of nowhere Fully comp is £123 annual Third party or TPF&T is £131 annual Bit of wiggling through cashback sites can knock those down to (probably) just under £100 I think that's exceptionally cheap for the UK due to age and location - if I was 19 again and living in London?
  20. You can setup a black market now - when I was a kid there was one lot of folks collected those, the other lot Green Shield Stamps. Trades took place - exchange rate varied depending on who wanted what out of which catalogue. You could even get a whole Ford Escort if you had enough
