Because the ill spirit that possessed it has left - on it's endless journey - looking for its next victim? I know, because it is here now haunting a Bini R50. It will leave, usually unexpectedly. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon

Kids. Last night - provide living proof that the electric power steering pump on the subframe of a Bini likes to be above the water table. Ring, ring - heeelllllp. Gorilla the car home in the dark. There's a drone like a wheel bearing in distress too. Grumpyfucketty-fucks.

Guy where I grew up had one of those in calf-scour brown colour. My dad had us believing that the roof was actually a pop-off boat so you could setup camp by a loch, get your wee boat and paddle out to catch a trout/salmon for tea. Imagine our sense of betrayal, a few years on, to see one in action, in the flesh. Of course, dad denied ever making the original claim at that point.

Escape velocity meter - it counts back from 12,000 to 0 (thus indicating that you have reached Outer Space). Zero reading is usually reached after losing the slipstream of an AC Cobra on a banked bend at Le Mans. Before you can think 'merde' your lightweight and slipstreamed @HMC special is soaring up, up and away into the 5th Dimension over the ski-jump like banking. 12,000 spooling down to zero. Sorted. BYO oxygen,

Now that you 'Shiters have explained the PineApple scene to me - please tell me the reasoning behind those STUPID FECKIN' ROOFRACKS. That's all Thank you

Someplace on here these were discussed last year(?). I had problems with one (wouldn't properly engage so reduced starting current too much - it was on a 3.2 Merc Engine so maybe not such a good match). Look for a pukka Durite sort - https://www.durite.co.uk/durite-shop/quality-core-components/switches-and-indicators/battery-isolators.html I'm using a removeable key type to stop a parasitic drain on one of ours and it's fine.

Brings back memories of an album cover, back when albums had covers that is....

Calibra is a car that I just never see around these days - so much so that even a picture is a bit of a surprise. Rocly the SaaB gets my vote although the Opel Estate is a close second. Any coffee suits me so long as it's not Mellow Birds?

Dussac, 2019 Back right there's what may possibly be me old neighbour's RHD Range Rover? Not spoken/seen him/been there in 24 years though

Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

This popped on on my eBay ShiteFeed - nurse rarely lets me out but, even so, I have never seen one of these in the flesh (nor did I know they existed) -

Just Googled the dimensions and it's only about 4" narrower than my horsebox (both excl wing mirrors) - for a 'car' that's rather silly. -
Polo brown motion and other four wheeled suppositories.

I'm afraid I don't have knowledge of your previous convictions with regard to ShiteMobiles so, any guess at 'encore une fois' is likely to be wide of the mark ...... Dog suggests hatchback or estate so it's not a dodgy MX-5, how about Ford Galaxy? -

Lancia Thema that's crispy with two bad tyres and non-working wipers - nooooo - how about Ford Focus Mk 1? -
I'm waiting for the Rover Sterling I got outbid on at that auction to re-appear someplace soon at a premium.

They (Bodie & Doyle) did a switch to the Dark Side (BL) for one series - floppy haired character got a Dolly Sprint but I have no recall as to what the other guy got. Gordon Jackson just got different coloured Crombies to wear.

Marsden VanPLan had those way before this ..... Not sure why/how that Toy can be export only? One for @LightBulbFun maybe?

Awww c'mon - how many movies do more than that? Wheels fall off, doors leave the area (OK so Charlie Croker set a precedent there)? It's all part of the fun* of growing old - trust me, I'm in my sixties now and still writing to Barry Took** Only kidding - movie tropes are what they are - more and more laughable as time goes by tbh. ** Google it here for you young folks -
Calling Mondeo lickers - this is up next to Middlesborough with a BIN of £850? 2 litre GLX Auto - MOT till November - low miles - MOT suggests a bit of brake work & exhaust maybe needed but it looks clean enough.
-
"Replacement bumper and rear light were sourced and repair commenced when my mechanic advised the MOT was due. The resulting failure was disappointing do I have decided to dispose. " FFS!
-
Have we had this yet? Reserve not met at £2.5K? Really!
-
Not to my taste but somebody must love it

Spotted this and figured @grizz should step and and buy it to complete his pair? £6995 gets you the bargain of the century? (not the DeLorean )

There's a memoir by a guy called Alex Lochrie (Scots guy who buggered off to the French Foreign Legion in his thirties or so) in which he ends up punting one of those around Sarajevo. (The book itself is not that bad - much better than a lot of the BravoTwoZero wannabe blood and guts bollox, Freebie Kindle version pops up now and then). I think* he calls it a Renault in the book - not sure - he's got a picture in there but, seeing as I had a Kindle version, no good. So I nicked the image below from https://pbase.com/zidar/sarajevo&page=all -

We had lots of OS. OOOO yes. My first Range Rover which I bought down in that there Engle-land (Northants) was A382WOS. Sure enough, my dad 'knew' the car when it was new and running around back home - smol place is Wigtownshire. There was a lot of dealer/brand allegiance too. My Dad stuck with Triumph for a fair time, had one Talbot, then Skoda forever - ditto the neighbours.
