Drive It Day, Cowley, Oxford - lots of polished shite

Sun is shining, as it’s Drive It Day again I thought I’d take my W123 to a (relatively) local event.

Spot the odd one out. Not sure that my Benz belongs in amongst all this British tat but I was made very welcome by other owners and my old Berlin taxi received plenty of compliments.

Nice pics, another day I wish I could have done but working again etc.     W123 looks nice too - I expect "Bugger off with that German thing" is a bit inappropriate at Cowley nowadays.

So that's where all the BL chod went. That explains the distinct lack of it at Bicester, apart from a very nice black Princess and one other Maxi.

Oh so this is why I passed about 7 bl chods as I blasted through Oxford and past cowley on my way home earlier! And why the cowley junction roundabout had loads of cones around it... Saw a fair few heading up the a34 the other way too but I was pressing on so didn't see much detail!

I love that Harvest gold Aggro in the last pic - looks like a good day out. I hate 'parked on grass' car shows with a real venom but I'd have enjoyed that.
