Don't be so harsh on the lad.

As he can only post Pecan/Hillman Hunter pictures, it was either those above or some pictures of a saloon.

Sorry to repost the pictures (by reply) but that is utterly horrible. Shadows (esp. series one versions) are a thing of beauty but that is just terribly, terribly wrong.

I quite like it. It's brown.

Apologies to PH! Was a tad harsh.

Cavette, I have to disagree. I think that Shadow is bloody lovely and I want it very much... BUT NOT IN FUCKING BROWN!!!!!! I can see it in a deep rich metallic burgundy, now that would suit it, and me. :D

Would be a funny old world if we all liked the same...........

Hello there, I'm TagoraGL (notSX). Long time listener, first time caller.

Here are some pics of an Alfa 164 Sportwagon. I guess it has the same high boot lip as the saloon.

Sadly not, just dreaming. :)

I suspect Booby has the UK's full collection of working Tagoras.

Hell, I'd forgotten about the Bijou 'estate'! It was part of the display at the 2CV World Meeting in Scotland in 2005.

This was built by some septic with half an idea and too much time on his hand, a Sawzall and access to the back third of a Ford Taurus Station Wagon.

And welcome aboard.

Its' only redeeming feature is that it's a 7-seater.

Lagonda

Hence the asterisk and the comment about some being Lagondas at the bottom of that particular post*.

*Don't worry, I've done worse on here in the past.

"Following their successful conversion of the Triumph 2000 into estate form, Carbodies were asked to prepare an estate version of its smaller brother. This running prototype was the result, but sadly, it was not pursued by the company."

Hows this?

"Explain" why this '77 SD1 has got the wheels from an '82 onwards Rover 2000 when it's in BL's own museum.

Horrible looking thing anyway.

Tis not, tis in the Haynes museum.

Dunno if that "explains" the wheels but they're probably slightly less anal about stuff like that.

Artz did some nice Porka load luggers too.

928 is a bit iffy

Artz also built a widened VW Golf Mk1 that used Porka 928 running gear. I like a Q car!

The Artz quatrro wagon is fabulous - a truly practical super car if there ever was one. It could have done with a mark 2 Scirocco-style rear spoiler to break-up the expanse of tailgate glass, though.
