Unusual school prom transport...ideas??

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I need to arrange transport for #1 daughter (16) and 3 friends to their upcoming school prom (school proms!! - I may add something to the Grumpy thread). Apparently "the usual" limo is not an option (too common), but they do want to "make an entrance". I was thinking along the lines of maybe an A-Team or Scooby Doo van, any other ideas???

School prom? Back in my day (1994), we had a "Leavers' Do", which was basically a school disco which our teachers attended

If you can find one, I suggest something like this:

Much more stylish and memorable than any hot pink Lincoln or Hummer chav taxi could ever be :)

The interior of this is particularly impressive, with entertainment laid on.

I actually quite like this one :)

Make an entrance and arrive in style with Hirst Prom Cars (a division of Hirst Cabs).

A range of executive saloons will take your beloved daughter and friends to a location!

Worried about safety? Don't be - our drivers have repeatedly been told not to touch girls.

Included with every journey is a mandatory glass of special fruit punch.

It'll be a night you will never forget!

That's because they won't remember it after the 'special' fruit punch.

Hang on, you have a Triumph 2000, why not give it a polish and use that? Surely that'll be unique enough for the event? You can bet the others will turn up in crappy Caddy limos from a local cab company.

I had planned on using the 2000, but the fact there's 4 of them puts the kybosh on it...three in the back with posh frocks etc is a no-no apparently

Crew cab Sherpa with Harvey Frost recovery crane? Bonus points for the back seating area being covered in oil, broken glass and alastion shit and make sure you have some bald 145/10 remoulds lobbed across the floor.

Definately something uncle-buck-esque.

Make sure you let the teenage males know that you are handy with both drill and golf clubs too.

Bright pink stretch Hummer for that extra touch of class

Do you know anyone else with a nice old motor? You could go in convoy.
