Can't be a Supercar with a poxy turbocharged four cylinder and McPherson-struts. I'm not going to guess because I accidently cheated.

"Parked it up just before winter, it was driving fine, started first time. Thought, - 'that car will see me out'.

Returned today for it's arranged MOT.

-  Oh bugger".

(What is / was  it?   Clue, slight compensation).

Looks like an early mk5 Cortina GL estate ?

Bonus points for whoever can correctly guess of what supercar this is the chassis.

That's not a chassis.

AWD, engine in  the middle with huge fucking wheels... and look at the back box.

Estima?

Edited to add; I am not suggested the Estima is any way a supercar. It's THE supercar

That was my guess too.  Initially thought it was a 1600L but L had 2-spoke steering wheel and less chunky interior doorhandles.  Door windows (and windscreen) are same height as the Mk5 on estates, the glass may even be interchangeable.

This was it when parked.

Like a blurry morning street scene from my late 1980s after a night on the vodka.

Looks like Highland Green, wow !!!

Looks like a fibreglass repro 3-litre bonnet bulge (Fibresports?), but it's been placed (hopefully not fitted) off-centre.  Note rear window wiper and 'anti-mist' panel.

Last taxed 1984, 1600cc.   Maybe someone's first car and pride and joy.
