I'd have really enjoyed lookin' round them. Colour coded bumpers on a G reg Samara? Was that standard?

Posted

AWWW - why wasn't this in the upcoming shows thread??? :(

Posted

Wish I'd remembered this was on, looks like a good day out.

I'd like to turn up in an original UK import Dacia Denem. I reckon they'd need to employ a street sweeper to clear the mess up that would be created :D

This is so cool. I'm not entirely sure what it is (Polski-Fiat?) but I would 8)

Thats a Lada chap - and a smart old boy at that. 8)

Wow, superb cars there! Impossible to choose a favourite, that purple Tatra is mighty impressive though, such bizzarely good looking things.

this looked a little like a renault 25, until i saw the rear view

Ooh, I love a good dose of Vartburg in the evening.

I presume a Marina might have died to allow that jeep thing to live? A serious crisis for the feelings for a true shiter.

Posted

OMGZ! All of these are super win!

I think that Trabant Tramp lives near me, can't be more than one in the UK surely?

Crickly!, That isn't a lot different to a Tagora is it!

The rear lights on this 120L can't be right, Surely? They look like the lights of a much earlier model.

Great photos BTW, Some real rarities in that lot! 8)

That Tatra was the dogs danglies - I love them 8) . There was for some reason a 3.3 Ventura FD there and some Mz's if anyone wants me to add those tonight.

I thought the same thing, but the whole rear panel is different on later models isn't it?

Posted
Did you get a pic of the Ventora? I bloody love those.

I will allways photograph a FD series when I can. Great looking cars 8)

Great pics - that Niva looks like one I've seen around here a few times, going to have to get a shot of it..

Cheers.

Talbot Tagora

Hmm, interesting. I propose that those Russkies copied the Tagora design a bit as well as the Alpine!

Posted

So many great pics there. That yellow 4 lamp Lada is lush.

Posted

The Ventora belongs to Dave Richards (he's in uniform just in front of it). He's currently restoring a Tatra 603.

I do adore Ventoras. Ford's answer to it? The Zephyr Mk4. Oh dear.

Posted

The FD series was an extremely handsome car, wasn't it? I always wanted one, but never had one.

Posted

I saw that one at Billing this summer, it is very nice.

My dad used to own the white one I've just made my avatar, he sold it about 10 years ago. It's still about but I've not seen it in a while. I love that car, as soon as I can afford it I'll get it back hopefully... Might be a while though.
