My great big rammle sale thread! Free car mags!

I'm having a mass clearout of general shite related rammle, so thought I'd offer up stuff here first before it goes on Ebay. In the next few weeks I'll be getting rid of some actual car related stuff, but for now I'll focus on the toys and models. Some bits I'll be giving away (hopefully), the rest I'm hoping I'll be pricing to sell. If anyone's interested in any of it, then I'll delete it out of the thread – so if you see a picture of something, it's still available.

Last but not least, I'm very open to local pick ups (Leeds/York) or relay runs and I'm working in Newcastle for the next few weeks, so that could be another collection possibility. P+P is possible but may take a short while and will be done at cost.

Matchbox Rover SD1, Hovercraft, Renault 11 and Lincoln something or other. The Renault box has been opened, the Lincoln box is tatty and one of the front wheels of the SD1 hasn't had any silver paint applied. £8

Posted Image

Create the ultimate shitists model garage! Matchbox Citroen CX, Majorette Renault 18 taxi, 2 x Matchbox Mk4 Cortinas and a Renault 5. The 5's quite scratched, the green Cortina has 2 minor chips in the paint and the CX has a couple too. The red Cortina and Renault 18 are both immaculate. £8

Posted Image

Matchbox Rolls Royce with a couple of scuffs and a tatty Lincoln something. £1

Fairly dross Bburago Vitara and Cinq. Bonus equally dross Maisto E-Type. £2

Posted Image

Impeccably detailed (and photographed) Bachelors peas Corgi bus in box. 50P

Bacardi special edition Matchbox Land Rover 90 and boat/trailer. For no apparent reason I have 2 of these sets, both mint. £5 each

Posted Image

Large sized Corgi Merc 190 Cosworth from Mobil promotion. Box is OK but not mint. £5

Posted Image

Corgi Ford Zephyr. I'm being brash here and asking for a 5p mark upon what I evidently paid for it about 15 years ago! £5

Posted Image

Large size Corgi R5 Turbo and 2 x Pug 205 T16s. All mint/boxed and a couple with receipts from when I bought them in 1994. What a saddo! £10

Posted Image

STOP! ACCIDENT! Matchbox Superkings Bedford CF2 ambulance with flashing sign when its rolled along with the suspension pushed down. Mint/boxed, I really like this model but would prefer the £8

Posted Image

Dinky Volvo 265 police car. If I'm being really picky, it does have minor scratches to the roof guttering but I think it's down to dodgy die-casting rather than neglect. Unboxed sadly. £10

Posted

Posted Image

Bburago Land Rover 109 Safari built up from a kit. No box and also no apparent way of getting the roof to stay on or the toolbox lid on top to shut. Nice one Bburago! £8

Posted Image

James bond Aston Martin 1990's issue. Will try to find the plastic badge that goes with it. Plastic villian to launch out the roof included. £5

Posted Image

Matchbox Superkings Ford Sierra Cosworth in box. Good condition, no scrathes I think. £5

Posted Image

Bburago Peugeot 405 Raid, don't think it's even been unboxed. £5

Posted Image

Corgi Rolls Royce, 1990's issue. Has a bit of sticky label residue on plastic box but all good otherwise. £5

Posted Image

These are cool and I've never seen any others, hence the slight coinage. Ford Cargo Duracell box lorry and Mercedes Pepsi box lorry. Both in great nick, though sadly the white box of the merc has yellowed slightly. £20 (sucks teeth)

Posted Image

Large corgi Ford Escort. Box is tatty but the car is immaculate. £6

Posted Image

Large Corgi Mercedes ambulance, 1990's issue. £6

Posted

Posted Image

Large Corgi Mini in slightly tatty box. £4

Posted Image

What price obscurity? No idea why Corgi felt it necessary to put this bizarre pairing of differently scaled (and backwards displayed) Jeep and Saab 9000 together, but it is understandably rare, hence £12.

Posted Image

A sample of the unknown quantity (possibly 30-ish) of Days Gone models I've got. Most are boxed there's a wooden wall mounted display cabinet chucked in too if you're bothered. £25

Posted Image

Posted Image

Another freebie for someone's scrap yard scene. 1/24th Bburago Mini, most probably 1970's.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Ultimate Autoshite large Corgi Renault 11. I've never seen another with the transfer on the front, which is for a marketing agency. So cool it has 2 photos. £12

Posted Image

Another Corgi Routemaster Buzby bus, once again with tatty box but untouched bus. £6

Posted Image

Original issue James Bond Lotus Esprit Submarine, large size. No box and minor scrathes to the paint and stickers. £5

If anyone's interested in any items, please send a PM and I'll get in touch ASAP. I am really busy with work at the moment but will try my best.

Will look to update the rest soon.

Amazing collection there!

I had a Renault Trafic Burago model kit and they didn't include the metal axle rods, so I couldn't put the wheels on. Gutted!

Posted

Sorry Dicky, no Maestro but I do have a mint/boxed Corgi Acclaim coming up, when I can find the box in my parents loft!

Posted

I've already got a mint/boxed Acclaim! That's the one which has working steering via the door mirrors. Thanks anyway :)

Posted

I need the Corgi Maestro too, so Dicky, if you find two... at least mine was the MG, which means I don't have to file off the spoilers... :D

Sorely tempted by those Bburago scrappers!

Posted

Interested in the 2 boxed large Escort Mk3's and I'll take the tatty mk2 as well if no-one else has dibbed it already!

Posted

Fuck yeah! Can I have that weird Delta Integrale for 50p?

Posted

Corgi Rolls Royce Corniche for me please, just too good to resist.

Can only pay by Standing Order as my new back have only given me a Cash Card

PM me your details and I'll get money over to you, with details by Mon/Tues next week if thats ok.

I *may* also be interested in the the set of 5 Matchbox cars (2 Cortinas) but I already have a mint Red Matchbox Cortina, however I dont have a Matcbox Renault 5. If they dont sell on here, and your willing to replace or add the Matchbox Renault 5 then I'll be up for that.

Posted

Blimey. I've got a Texaco Matchbox Sierra too. I've kept it for years waiting for the ker-ching of payday when I make my fortune. £5 you say? Arse.

I've also got extremely battered and played-with versions of the Corgi MG Maestro with the working lights and the Triumph Acclaim with steering that actually has a large wheel on the roof. I bet both of those would be worth a fair bit if they hadn't suffered my childhood!

Posted

I'd like the Schuco Taunus please, let me know how much postage will be & if Paypal is Ok :)

Posted

This is what I like! Orders coming in thick and fast!

I'll hopefully be updating things further nearer the end of the month, so keep your eyes peeled. there may even be the odd real car for sale.....

Old post ressurection - most of the stuff prior to this is still available.

Anyway, up for grabs is a load of car mags from the 80's and 90's and 2000's (mostly classic car mags by then), including C&SC, Practical Classics, Classics, Your Classic, Top Gear (early issues – I think all single figure numbers), What Car, Autocar and Car magazine. Also the odd copy of loads of different titles, plus there's a few brochures for cars in there too, mostly from the early-mid 90's.

There's also 2 wooden crates of Motorsport magazines from the 70's and 80's, all unread by me and seemingly bagged up in batches for export to Japan or somewhere – my mum bought them for £1 at auction years ago for the wooden crates!

Total numbers of magazines are in the 100's – I counted about 25 full magazine box files, then there's the 2 crates full and at least 100 loose mags.

Please someone take these away free of charge! Mags are located in York, just off the A64. I would say that maybe someone local would be willing to transport them south for any interested parties meeting up on 26th but frankly I don't think anyone would be mad enough. Would they...?

Posted

I'd be interested in any pre-1997 C&SCs, if you can be bothered to sort them and if someone can bring them to the day trip. I wont hold my breath though!

Posted

Barret, I'm sorry to say that I was in Brighton last Sunday! In a LWB VW Crafter! Had I got my arse into gear and mentioned these earlier, I could have delivered them to your door. As it is, it's likely I'll not be visiting there again for a good while yet. But duly noted - will see what others want.

Gotta admit that I'd rather that someone just came and took every last one of them, on a first come first served basis but if it looks like the skip beckons I'll let interested parties know.

Posted

I'd be very interested in the What Car? issues, happy to pay the postage plus a bit for them.

Posted

I would be very interested in the issues of Car magazine, happy to pay any postage/courier costs on them, plus a bit extra for your trouble.

Posted

Hi, I could be interested in the AutoCars and possibly some of the C&SC that Barrett doesnt want. I could collect too. Any idea how many Autocars you have?

Cheers, Greg.
