You may well have noticed that my 2005 X-Type is being roffled for horrendously cheap. That must mean I’ve purchased another horrendously cheap car.

I have the train booked for Monday where I’ll be driving the new car home. It’s been sat for 6 months so hopefully all will be well.

21 combined immediately makes me think it's a 4.0 XJ40 or something, my old S3 XJ6 4.2's erstwhile trip computer claimed it did 22 combined, and I reckon that was optimistic.

Volvo 960 would also make sense, mind...

Not long left now! I’m very excited to be driving it home but also petrified. I was less scared driving a 1963 Rover P4 220 miles in a storm.
