1)- Number of people looking to buy a Renault 30 - low

 

2)- Number of people looking for a Renault 30 on eBay - even lower

 

3)- Number of people with ten large looking for a Renault 30 on eBay - none.

I would really love to get it even at the expense of selling my 18 Turbo, but I certainly wouldnt pay anywhere near that. I suppose that 3k would be the top dollar for it,and that would have been in good times

Depends how much he wants for the tyres. The Tagora SX has Michelin TRX's in an odd metric size and I got a set off the internet last year but had to pay £780!!!

Presumably if the cars £10k he'll want at least a grand for them.

One of the ones that got away for me, the R30. Years ago when they were just another low value old shitter, I looked at one at a Rover dealer and went home to think about it.

I went back a couple of hours later and it had been sold.

If it fetches 10k then not only will I strap several of the really nice R30s on leboncoin to the roof of my soft top Megane cabriolet when I go on my hols this summer and bring them back from France, but I'll also show my bare arse in Crewe town centre.

No - I spent years wondering around Crewe with just one cheek showing, people thought I was mad - I'm not going back to that.

 

If it really has sold, I'm going to streak across the Victoria Centre carpark holding my 1977 30 TS brochure aloft - it's the French text edition too - just for a bit of culture

Well it seems that it is actually sold and shall soon be on its way to Australia to a well known Fuego Collector---It will be a rather expensive car by the time it gets there
