I won’t say how little I paid for it but it was certainly like the budgie 😂

Didnt realise it was a ST500 either 😂

Need to put a fuel pump in it and mot it but it’s actually really clean underneath .

Ive known the car for years and its last two owners ( two brothers )

Looking forward to driving it and hope it drives like my old Puma

500bhp in a Fiesta! (yes I know it isn't)

How did they keep that thing out of the hedges?

I imagine it's still got plenty of Ford fairy dust, the whole range did then.

Yeh it’s only cosmetic and interior changes apparently. Just 500 made in total

Yeh . I’m usually pretty meh about cars these days but I’m genuinely looking forward to getting this on the road .

Obvs it's subjective and you might not like it, but that's why I've kept mine. It's a hoot. Puts me in mind of the 80s hot hatches we were dicking around with in the 90s. Small car, big lump, low weight. A combo that never got old 👍

Loved my blue 05 plate one and incredible value for money. The white ones always used to demand a premium, not sure if that's still the case. Relatively high insurance seems to steer away the chavs and modders to newer shape fiestas and corsas so many still standard. I'd have another in a heartbeat

I think it helps that they are naturally aspirated. Everything was going to turbo at that point and the remapping industry took off as a result. Who wants a 150bhp Fiesta when you can get a 190bhp Corsa VXR to 250bhp with a PC, and then drive it for 15 seconds before it melts a piston?

It's ok I'll pipe down, I've ruined myself with an MG ZR which is NOT a solid example under the sexy side skirts.....

Ooh, I like that idea - if I can get the cooling system to hold coolant and accept the fact it's only the 1.4 🤣

Your east of London aren’t you ? Brands be your closest I’d imagine

I'm near the delights of Brighton, I don't mind if there's anything somewhere between here and your neck of the woods

Mk6 fiesta seem very rot proof (if you don't count rear beams and front subframes [which Ministry appointed testers probs defo would]). 😁
