Last UK reg and Mot was 13 years ago,and probably brought over and used without switching to a BG reg.

1600cc of lpg'd goodness.

Around £1300 plus whatever ridiculous valuation tax the Notary puts on it.

50 years ago these were "popular" with the market gardeners around these parts. Mostly Mercedes badged by then, and I really wanted one, like you do when you're 17.

€13,000 but...  https://www.leboncoin.fr/ad/utilitaires/2949570953

Nice inside too. What's under the engine cover?IMG_0124.jpeg.b68d6c44e21cbe311b91b850b91da8bf.jpeg

BMC B-series! I think this will be in the same 40hp tune that the BMC vans got. MGB power could be fun...

That is an unusual engine fitment. Most were MBs own diesels or the Auto Union 1000cc two stoke. Wonder what the original fitment was.

The BMC engine was the original factory option petrol engine.  Not sure if this continued once they were Mercedes badged.

Imagine that, a Merc. with an Austin engine!
